Flax oil, olive oil, fish oil capsules, fish itself, peanut butter, cashews?

What's the best for losing body fat, dieting combined with cardio, some weights....

flax oil and nuts for 4-6 weeks high fat with lots of olive oil as well then switch to low fat fish and a fairly low fat low carb high protein diet.

just for the average smoe all those sources are good.

Just for the heck of it, here's how I would rate them:

1) flax
2) fish (coldwater)
3) fish oil capsules
*) fish oil flavor icecream (ok, I made that one up :) )
4) peanut butter (natural)
5) other nuts (walnuts, etc)
6) avocado

As far as nutritional benefits and overall value goes, fish would be bumped to the top due to it's nutrients and muscle building protein.

Well personally, I would chose peanut butter (all natural, of course) just because i llllooovvvveeee peanut butter. I really think I'm addicted to it. It's a great source of fat. So are nuts...and PB is basically just nuts....peanuts.

I know all those above are great sources of fat. Flax is easy to consume...if you are one who does not like to eat. Fish has omega 3...and thats supposed to be good for something.

Question for olive oil people: What do you eat olive oil with? It's not too tasty to have plain. In Italian restaurants, they give you bread to dip into it...but bread is not to great to have in a diet...well....u know what I mean. So what are some suggestions on how to have olive oil cuz i wanna add some to my diet.

Fry it . For example. have a chicken breast or two, and fry it in 2-3 tbsp of olive oil. Make sure that the chicken soaks it all up though.

As for me, I have it with tuna (BLEH) but I have my calories counted.,....so it's a must.

You don't want to fry the fat, it will change the structure of the fat. You can, after you cook the chicken, add your 2 Tbs of Olive Oil; but don't cook it w/ the olive oil. You wouldn't cook flaxseed oil would you?

also you can make a salad dressing with the olive oil and add red wine vinegar (free food) mince some garlic and salt and pepper and you have a good day-go dressing.. Use spinach instead of ice burg for higher nutrient density per calorie.
