good pics, looks like you have some good quads under there as well. Dont go overboard on the cardio though, i would stick to 30 minutes max every second day and dont go full blast, a speed where you can break a little sweat is great, just modify your diet. I dont know what your trainning is like but try to trow in some supersets in there. you dont want to eat up muscle mass on a frigging treadmill my friend. And if you lose fat too quick there is no way you will keep all your muscle mass. Good luck and keep trainning hard.

someone school me on the meaning of HIIT? thanks

High Intensity Interval Training. It basically burns fat off more effectively, almost exclusively by not allowing the body to go into "idle" mode. If you do the stairclimber for 45 minutes at the same level, your body will adapt and build endurance to sustain long expenditures of energy. Which means the body gets out of fat burning mode and idles.

But, if you change the resistance every 1-2 minutes, the body constantly burns off fat because your working harder every minute. You increase intensity in 5 intervals or so. It's fkn exhausting, but it works, and you do it for 20 minutes instead of 45. Short intense cardio. It's like working out hard or not. You wont see results if you take it easy.

hmmmm this is interesting...i know that on the precore machine (that thing that looks like the nordicstride) has this option...fat loss..and it does the entire work out in intervals..down incline for 2-3 min and up incline for 2-3 min...say i do this 30 min for 4 days a/wk....OR should i just do the jogging on the tread in intervals for 20 min? maybe i should try both...

You are not 18% BF. More like 25-29%. If you could get yourself down to 18, we'd be looking at a totally different person!

well growthspurt and chaquito...that is why i posted them my freinds...for an HONEST critique...and you guys have done that...gets me more motivated to get that fat off...thanks guys. k to you

Get a BF caliper and set a goal for yourself. I don't give a fk what any1 says about doing too much cardio. If you need to do it, then do it. Fat is fat and you want to show off the muscle. Big is not muscular. Notice how ppl with low bf look "bigger" than some1 with high BF? Being muscular is the key here. Gymratforlife is 185lbs and in a fat burning cycle. He's going to be fkn shredded when he's done with his DNP. If he ends up at 175, he'll look bigger than some1 35 lbs heavier covered in fat. Look at his thread. He's doing cardio twice a day! That's serious.

I see your point bro...i think i will up my cardio (that is where it has been lagging) i do have a caliper at home, and to be honest ..by what everyone has said doesnt look like i used it right if i THOUGHT i was 18%BF...im thinking of doing cardio at least for 40min...right now im on the 5X5 program..works great!

Yes, Fat Burn is the same as HIIT. If you do it manually, you have more control over the resistance and your own progress. But it is the same. Jogging and jumping rope burn fat like a mofo. I jump rope cuz I h8 running. And I mix it up with HIIT on the stariclimber. With the caliper, I think the lower stomach pinch will tell you everything. Guys just carry more fat in the midsection and chest. If you burn that shit off, everything else is golden bro.
