If you are eating way above your metabolic rate and you are resting alot between sets , squats and deadlift WON'T be the most effective exercise. If squats are done with lower weight, higher reps and little rest between sets, then squats can become very intense. But that would make squats more aerobic woulnd't it???

I just puked, cried a little, and now I am going to take a nap.

Squat. My pants don't fit anymore, but all the shirts are fine.

Hahaha from incorporating the oly lifts my pants nor shirts fit anymore. But that is more from obscene food intake more than the excercise choice.

LOL , I've found that these pancreatin pills really break down food fast. I think this is the most potent pancreatin on the market.

I eat 2 of these pills and some GNC betaine hydrochloride pills with a full meal and the meal is broken down in like 20 minutes

I would definitly do that if you eat a meal before squat day

Either Bicep ISOs or Tricep push downs. I do them 3 times a week and my arms look like Superman.

wrist curls

LOL!!!!! The only thing missing from this thread is an Anthrax Invasion smackdown, errrr.... lone trooper . It seems like the intended question in this pole is a loaded one. However, if forced to make a choice I understand G5's dilemma.

Most of us understand caloric surplus and frequency, along with progression in the big lifts, is the key to developing a powerful physique. If asked to pick one lift and only one lift I THINK THE CONSENSUS IS OLY SQUATS.

With everything I've said as a prerequisite, I'd like to add that I am a big time backer of overhead lifting. The effect its had on my upper body is quite obvious. This doesnt mean I pick this over the other excercises. Only that I believe overhead shouldnt be neglected and for that matter neither should pulling from the floor or squating.

Well , If I'm a powerlifter I might say clean and jerk....
But this was my point. I don't believe there is a one size fits all answer to the question.
