Painful stiff neck

oh! the other thing i forgot to mention is that my doc gave me a script for hmmmm i forget what it was. crap. damnit if i remember i will tell you (not pain pills BTW, something else). it was a pack - OH! i remember, prednisone. it totally helped by reducing the swelling in there. it came in like a 5 day pack and it helped tremendously.

I think posting some more pics of those bikini-clad chicks would make you feel better.

I know it would make me feel better....

B - remember recently when I posted a thread of the exact same nature (mid-June)? Well I ended up going to my ortho doc and getting some PT twice a week for 4 weeks. that PT really helped and they also did some deep tissue massage to work the knot out that i had. you likely are having muscle spasm and the muscle needs to be worked out and relaxed. it takes some time though. took me weeks before i wass feeling sort of normal and without any irritation or pain.

i dont ever want that again though cuz like you say, any slight movement fucking hurts like hell!
I'm in that hell agaiN! Its a lot easier to talk about it to others who are having it than to go through it first hand!!

Time to change pillows...
I think I did sleep "wrong" on it, but I have 4 pillows, 2 of one kind and 2 of the other, the 2 soft thinner ones are perfect for me. The night before I, I had slept with my GF, so I was in a different sleeping position (you know how chicks love to cuddle, makes 'em feel close and what not). So I think that could have contributed.

I just look at it as a cross to bear for being devilishly handsome.

Forget regular therapy...takes forever to get any results.

You need active release: it hurts like hell but you'll have huge improvement after only one session, and might even be fully cured after one...if not two sessions.

However, you MUST make sure the person doing it is certified. Use this site to find a practitioner: Active Release Techniques®
