Over 30 crowd

Heard some cruising on test for a long time, months even years. I am 32 and anymore kids are out of the question, I love being on test. I have only ran 500mg a week max, what is the risk of running about 16+weeks of test-e then coming back to 100mg or 150mg a week for awhile to keep gains then raising back to 500 a week. Would it be better to stay at 500mg? Just wondering what is the pro's and con's on running for an extended period of time. I have always been a 'fat ass' in school and growing up, I love working out and seeing my new body coming together in the mirror, I just hate to friggin going back ya know. I just cant seem to hold hardly anything with even a good PCT. Nolva/clomid, hcg, doesn't matter, I just crash on PCT.

So what do ya think about test for an extended period of time?

Many Thanks

Some of the larger guys on trt are running 400mg/wk year round. Depending on how your labs look and what your goals are, id probably just settle for 300-400mh/wk and just keep going. I just hate the effects of the hormonal roller coaster myself and would opt for slow and stead year long gains over the gain, maintain, gain, maintain approach but then again im also in my 40's so my natty test levels are already in the tank.

You're not a pro. Why do you care what they do?

30 is too young to be on HRT. And these days you can cruise drug free. BRIDGE, BIG BLAST, GEAR, UNLEASHED, ...fuck, I wish I had that shit back in the day. Today , you should be able to stave off HRT, at least until 40. At LEAST.

Definitely get some blood work and think carefully on this... Don't settle for your regular doctor saying you're in the "normal" range. BULLSH*T. The specified "NORMAL" range on hormone levels is ridiculous; let's say the acceptable range of something is from 10-1000, and yours is 13. That's hypothetical, but whatever the hormone, and whatever the number scale is, it's always VERY broad, to make most everyone fit into "normal". Think about the poverty line in income, which is another "one size fits all BULLSH*T scale: You make $40K/year and live in Missoula, MT, and you're going to live pretty nicely. Make $40K in NYC or LA, and you're going to be in the soup line after you try to pay rent or a mortgage.

I know the feeling of the threat of losing all you worked to gain, and it's not a good feeling. It is possible that your natural levels are dropping off, as they did with me.

For most people, this is true... But not for all. He would do well to see where his levels are. I was in my early 20s when I began to have a major drop-off in free syrum T levels, and although it was the result of a medical condition, it still requires HRT even when the underlying condition (Aldosteronism) is controlled. I think many younger men have low T levels and don't know it, and that would explain why some men tend to work their a**es off at the gym, and see nothing in the way of results.

I've gone up to 2 years "on" before, cycled doses up till a few grams per week, down to 200mg per week. I used hcg throughout and when came off everything was fine, even got my wife pregnant again...
it may not be for everyone, but can be done safely

^^^That kind of amazing bro. Gr8 info.^^^

Great info fellers, Glad it can be done, going to check in with the dr on next visit and see what he thinks, but it seems dr.'s in this area know nothing about what is going on.

Ok bro now that you have more or less decided to go this route there are a few other things that you need to do that go along with the long term high dose test routine.
Most importantly of all KEEP UP ON YOUR BLOOD TESTING!:splat:.
Keep an AI on hand as in Aeromasin or Arimidex.
Pay attention as to how you feel, perform sexualy and how you sleep.
Get lots of sleep.
Keep your carbs up.
And KEEP POSTING ON HERE!
Regards bro and good luck.

Guess I need to find a new local dr. He is saying with my size and "body hair" my test levels are normal and a test would be a waste. Not sure what my body rug has to do with it, LOL. I have arimidex here, usually .25 every 2-3 days sometimes once a week at 500mg a week test-e is enough to keep gyno away. I just friggin hate the roller coaster effect, I went for months trying to recover with clomid and nolva and I never "seemed" to fully recover although I never had blood work done.

Still reading and talking with folks, I would like to maybe run at just 6 month or so, But I know coming off that long of cycle will be hell.
