Out of all the religious debates....

How do you justify pulling all of the good elements from various religions, with none of the bad? You can't. No established faith works that way.

Well, certainly Christians do pick and choose which parts of the scripture to believe. If all Christians believed the same thing, there'd be only one established church. But since instead there are hundreds of competing Christian sects, clearly there are theological differences of opinion, but they all use the same book. So, in a sense, all Christians are guilty of theological cherry-picking.

What's the difference between that and cherry-picking different theological ideas from a variety of organized religions?

You get along with the chemists? I thought you dropped the Chem major?

Note the PRIME Lab has a Purdue physics.edu web addy, despite the lab being in the basement of an engineering building, once again proving physics prestige over the lowly engineers.

But in all seriousness, we get along with the chemistry majors just fine... someone's gotta do the bitch work for us, right? *coughlolcough*

yeah, thats how I feel. That was my point in sying that "I beleive" thing. It didnt mean I followed it. I just beleive it. IMO, there is only one God and its one and the same for all the religions, they just call it different names and they follow little bit different things depending on what part of this planet they live at.
