I never said that there wasn't some good in every faith. My initial statement came from an unbiased standpoint. I have no problem with someone believeing in a different faith than me. That's fine. Leave my personal beliefs out of your arguement, as I am not including them in mine.krishna said:There is some good in every faith. How do you justify pulling all of the good elements from various religions, with none of the bad? You can't. No established faith works that way.
All I meant was that it would be easier for me to accept that this life is all there is, and then we die... end of story... than to accept that we can just pick our own version of the "afterlife" and think it will be that way.
Since everyone is being so critical of the bible lately, I'm going to throw this out there as well...
Where would someone gather any evidence whatsoever that their compilation of niceities has any validity at all (as a whole, not individually), therefore warrenting even a reasonable plausibility, much less justifying a belief in them?
