I`ve searched in archive but I can`t find answer to question in what temperature falxseed oil is losing its qualities? On the label of oil I bought today is written: "Pressing and cleaning this oil is taking place in temperature below 50 C degrees what allows it to have\possese (don`t know how to write it, sorry) all the qualities and nutrition properties..."
Saturated fats 104 mg/g
Mono-unstaturated fats 161 mg/g
Poly-unsaturated fats 725 mg/g
I thought "cold" doesn`t mean "below 50C".
I`ve read many posts about flaxseed in archive and a lot of people say it has horrible taste, and can`t swallow it. I would say it`s very good, like something nutty. I drop olive oil and switch to flaxseed. And the second thing. You`ve got to have really huge tablespoons in US – one tblspoon is about 15 grams of fat from what I`ve read
. My biggest tablespoon of oil is about 9-10 grams of fat, and it`s really big spoon.
Cheers!
