I didnt read most of the posts here, but....
You dont want to burn a tick, irritate it or simply pull it out.
Mainly b/c it will leave it's probiscus (sucking tube with bacteria) in the skin.
Simply apply a large dollup of vaseline around the tick preventing it from getting oxygen, the tick will remove it's probiscus and seek oxygen usually dying in the process but superiourly reducing unwanted tick infections.
Burning, ripping it off, leave the infecting agent still in the skin.
Just an ignorant thing to do, but hey, lots of ignt advice on the internet so believe me as you would others
