Is it wrong to eat "racist" breakfast food?

why do people think that is racist? It is just period costume that she is dressed in. I don't find it any more racist than the Aunt Bea character is racist against white people. What do the black members here think? Is this advertising racist?

I think it's more of what the image depicted from the "period".

In other words using the image of a "House Ni**a" to promote a product. Which is what the image was of when released in that time period.

I guess I never thought of her as a slave -- she just looked like a nice, matronly black lady. That picture definitely looks more racist than the current Aunt Jemima.
 
Of course I don't think Aunt Jemima was as negative as other images that were used to depict African Americans like buffoons or lesser people.
