Yeah, no kidding. I don't understand how someone can do that period, but espeically to the father of your child. He was an AWESOME father... That's all he'd ever talk about, were his kids. To take that away from your child, is well, insane to say the least. He has like 3 other kids, but with another woman, that are now without a father .

The Mother of the one child will probably go to the lockup as well, if this all pans out. I don't understand how people can be that selfish and not think ahead two steps to see where their actions will lead.

So sad ... Seems to weird, I just saw him Wed. I had never, until now, known someone personally that had been murdered. His ex (mother of his son), and her live in boyfriend were the ones that did it. Collin had just purchased life insurance on himself for their 2 year old son within the past week, supposedly that was part of the motive.

Do you know if there was any motive besides life insurance recoup (terminal illness, in debt, business deal gone wrong, etc)? Killing someone for insurance money seems drastic to say the least.

Be careful in Houston. One of my really close girlfriends was abducted and never heard from again. Three others were raped. One guy cut a leak in her tire and followed her until she pulled over, offered to help, drove her out to the middle of a field, and raped her. I grew up there, shit goes down on a regular basis. I never bothered watching the news because of it. The I-45 "Killing fields" are part of it. Be careful if you ever go down to Clear Lake to party. There are trolls who look for pretty girls on that stretch of highway after the bars get out and run them off the road, rape them, kill them, and bury them out there in those fields. Wow. Well, he was killed in FL, but he is from here (Houston), and was just there for a project.
I LIVE in Clear Lake. Scary.
