Tell me about it! My legs kill after a kickboxing session, 3 days to recover from lifting with my legs and even then I'm lucky if I can manage 12 decent sets!!

Like a mofo!! My traps are still sore today. My delts usually recover quite quickly but yesterday I wanted my mum. That just hurt but I couldn't stand that I thought it looked too daunting so I had to give it a try :)

Doubt I could do it 5 days in a row! I'm gonna give chest a go next, we ain't got lat or cable machines or even a leg extension so I'll have to modify some things but I'll give them all a go in terms of sets and reps. :evil:

Thursday-Missed my chest workout today. I will do chest tomorrow and legs on Saturday. My mother was very sick and I had to take her to the hospital and care for her until late last night. Woke up this am and was absolutely exhausted. Oh well. I will just miss arms this week I guess. I hate that shit but family comes first!

You mean the one where you alternate dumbell flys and presses for 2 sets of each @ 10 reps per set?

I'm gonna have to swap in chest press with flat bench and pec dec with regular flys. My gym has a seated leg curl and leg press but no other machines.

My legs just don't have the mass to win at that level in regular BB'ing. I am pissed. I am dissapointed. And quite frankly don't want to talk to anybody or hear anybody's bullshit at work right now. Dream officially shattered for this year!

But you can pack an amazing amount of mass on your legs with low volume HIGH WEIGHT!
5-8 rep range for Front Squats, 5 sets.
3-5 rep range for Back Squats, 7-10 sets.
8-10 for Leg press, 6 sets.
That right there is your leg workout. Alt Ft and Bk squats each session as to which one you do first, follow with Leg press.
Go heavy bro and you will explode. I assure you, you really will.
Good luck bro and keep your chin up. Make that iron pay for it all.

Hey Owl...just wanted to say I'm thinking of you and I know that feeling of disappointment. I'm with Zed...don't give up yet!! You still have lots of time to make some good gains. I'd say push it hard until the real cut starts, see what you can gain and then decide for sure. Ultimately, you want to come in as hard and lean as you can. Keep shooting for the main goal and if you have to re-evaluate in say, September, then decide.
