ms hills
who do u think denver will pick
I do too but all the USC knob polishers in the NFL seem to disagree. The guy started one year on a team loaded with probably 15-20 future pros in a conference not known for good defense. He's got the physical tools but I don't think he makes good decisions.haha.. i think hes totally overrated.

Sanchez will get hurt in the first couple seasons and be forgotten
Matt Leinart wanna-be..lol
exactly... and for his own coach, Pete Carrol to diss his decision to go pro prob doesnt help. He shouldve finished @ USC to up his net worth. greed.
I'm sure Leinart is the reason he didn't come back but he'll live to regret that extra year of reps. I don't think he'd go higher if he stayed but he'd have a better chance of succeeding. QB's should never leave early...just ask Tommy Maddox...or Jamarcus Russell...Vince Young..Michael Vick...Aaron Rodgers...Alex Smith.

I'm a Bronco for 2009. Champ Bailey, Boss Bailey and now Knowshon Moreno from Georgia.
Vernon Gholston was supposed to be a monster too
God the Jets are a mess with depth
good call on sanchez, BH.
Relatively happy about the Giants draft. Wish they would have traded a 1st and 3rd for Braylon Edwards, but it is what it is. Dude's hands took a lot of plays off Owens style anyway. Supposedly Hicks, their first round draft pick is supposed to be really good. A few scouts called him "the most ready to play in the NFL WR in the draft". Eli sure needs a big guy with good hands (tho 6' is quite smaller than Plax).
Also happy with their 2nd pick. Dude has also been touted as possibly the best LB in the draft and this was a deep draft for LBs.
All in all, I trust Reese and the G-Men on draft day a ton. The last few years they have done AMAZING work there.
Eagles suck.
lol, what the fuck are you smoking? You actually believe that statement that he's the most NFL ready WR? Above Crabtree or percy harvin? He wasn't even the best WR at his school. lol @ 6'0 being big for a receiver. you shouldnt even have put that in there. They should have took Britt. That kid is what they needed. Big, physical and can make plays. Tennessee made a good pickup in getting him.
Quit being a homer for a minute. you sound like ortiz
i'm not even going to comment on that best LB in the draft. i'm sure he's better than Curry, cushing or maluaga lolololol
however, i like the Ramses Barden pick. now THAT guy is big. 6'6 and can play. even though he went to a shit school, i think he could be good
yea sweet we have 8 potential stud recievers, one being a murderer, one QB that has no arm and one QB that has no brain, sweet

First teams rarely go against each other in practice. The risk of injury is higher. It's always first team offense vs second team defense and vice versa.yeah, all on the defensive side of the ball. how many USC players were drafted this year?
How many USC players were on the offensive side, aside from sanchez?
Thank you
that also means he had to go against them everyday in practice.

stop talking with any logic bro
the Jets rule
LOL @ Patriot hater nation espn kissing ass again
ESPN says Brady tested better physically post-injury than he did at any other time.
Tom Jackson said that this year's Patriot team is as scary as the undefeated team.
Trent Dilfer then said that our coaches, front office and everything we do as an organization is better than anyone else in the NFL. He said it's not even close.
He then goes on to say that we're gonna annihilate teams this year.
Chris Carter added that everyone should be scared of the Patriots
The D*CK sucking got uncomfortable
shouldn't you be busy talking about how the yankees suck and the redsox rule (despite your numerous posts when the redsox started off shitty how its stupid for anyone to get excited until july?)

you don't even know anything about our roster.
you're such a dumb fuck when it comes to sports, i swear.
i like that the jets are underated and the pats are overated this year...
...going 18-1 dosent make you sb champs...
How exactly are they overrated for this year? 11-5 last year with a back up QB.....getting Brady back plus filled a few gaps?
You're already acting like Mark Sanchez is the next Matt Ryan when the kid has played only one full season of college ball for a team that should have killed their opponents regularly.
I love what the jets did....got a good quality qb that will be the face of the franchise for years...also got one of the best rb in the draft...well done....quality vs quantity. I cant wait to see the jets D this year....im sure its going to take a few weeks into the season for them to get the new coaching staff but i have a feeling this D will be amazing and the jets off will control the clock. I think VG is not a bust and will thrive under rex. I just worry about the lack of a #1 WR. Its going to be an interesting year in the AFC east....i like that the jets are underated and the pats are overated this year....funny thing is the pats havent won the sb in years and act as if they won the last 2 or 3...going 18-1 dosent make you sb champs...
this fan sure agrees with me, along with many others

Sanchez is the next Vinny Testaverde. Elevated in stature due to the college program he played in. Will be an average starter in the pros or good back-up that will be journey through the league.
This draft is gonna do one of two things for the Jets
Turn them around to have a franchise QB and a good running back for when TJ and possible Leon Washington leaves (he wants starter money)and they will be very succesfull
OR... Sanchez could buckle like SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many others and the new york sportsworld will eat him up and it sets you back for years to come,
Problem is with this trade and many others you have little depth for injuries on alot of key positions
Leon washington is not going anywhere. bank on that. He's way too valuable on special teams and on offense. TJ is gone after this year. That's why they got Greene. Leon deserves to get paid. he's been great for this year since his rookie year and hes been making peanuts. im 100% sure the jets will reward his loyalty at the end of the year.
the D is weak now...
the offense is one deminsional.
people still think they are what they use to be a few years ago....not anymore...teams have found there weakness...
all i said was they finally got a quality qb...we havent had one in...well its been too long...
I just think the whole team is overrated...they are done...the D is weak now...the offense is one deminsional. Will they still be good...absolutely...will they go to the sb...no way....will they win the afc east....i dont know....maybe/maybe not...people still think they are what they use to be a few years ago....not anymore...teams have found there weakness...
I never claimed Sanchez was going to be matt ryan or anyone else...all i said was they finally got a quality qb...we havent had one in...well its been too long...But I do think he will be a very good QB in the NFL.
lol @ picking one fan on a jets message board.
you suck at debating, or logic

another one
read the whole thread and apologize
you probably have the jets bookmarked

The defense is not weak, it's been how long since they were able to play their whole first team together? Over the last two years, their defense had the worst injury time missed. Yet, if Asante Samuel makes one fucking catch, they add another Super Bowl.
The thing I love is most teams have serious drop-off and need to rebuild. The Pats had some good additions and also keep loading up on draft picks. Hell...they have three second rounders again next year.
How the hell do you run the ball when their RB's keep breaking down? Or better...Brady was throwing bombs. I thought for sure the Pat's would dump Maroney for a draft pick and take a decent RB. Hell....CJ Spiller is better than Maroney.
You have no secondary whats so ever
and seymour and bruschi are old....
the only hope you have in your coaching system...it takes avg players and makes them look good....maybe itll help out your secondary
I like maroney...and they picked up fred taylor...but hes also old
They haven't had a full secondary in years...yet were one Asante drop from another Super Bowl and one dropped ball the year before against Indy from playing in another Superbowl.
How exactly are they overrated again?
You keep making excuses....every team has injuries....and every team can go back, look over film and pick one play that cost them the game..
Harrison played five games last year....the year before 12 and the defense was on fire until he was hit low.In the past you had asante and harrison in the secondary....not any longer....so they are vulnerable there.
Your acting like im saying the pats suck...they dont
jets suck ... pats not so muchh
Think about it...which other top team lost so many starters to injuries? Indy did....Pitt did not last year. The year before, Pitt was steamrolling and then lost a core of starters.
New England's been one of the few teams that can plug people into other rolls with the exception of Brady.
As for the one play comment....you missed my point. Asante Samuel's bobble would have added another Superbowl ring. You called them overrated and I'm saying they were one bobble away from 4 Superbowl wins in this decade.
jets suck ... pats not so muchh
coming from a skins fan, who's quarterback is jason campbell lolololol
and where once great, and now extremely washed up and overpaid players, go to collect their final check

thats way too long to read...i have my opinion...we'll see what happens....im saying the pats go 11-5 what do you guys think
14-2
2-14 if someone dives into Brady's knee again.
Only if you publicly renounce all things Florida Gator.14-0 if Brady knocks up Gisele Bundchen...
will you guys do me a huge favor & vote on this thread for the chat thread of the week?? i could use the karma (& will hit all of you w/some in return).
cheers, MsBH

The cornerback spot has gotten a drastic overhaul. Veterans who saw the bulk of the action last year have either been traded or cut loose since the end of the season (Hobbs, Lewis Sanders, Jason Webster and Deltha O’Neal), and many of the ones who remain have only one year under their belt in the New England system (Jonathan Wilhite and Terrence Wheatley). In their place are free-agent signees (Shawn Springs, Leigh Bodden), as well as a rookie (Butler).
It doesn’t appear the Patriots will add any more cornerbacks between now and late July, so New England figures to enter training camp with a great positional battle at the position. Our guess would be that Wheatley -- who became a starter midway through the 2008 season and was impressive before suffering a wrist injury -- and Springs would have the inside track on the starters' jobs, while Butler, Bodden and Wilhite battle for the nickel corner position.
I cant even believe you wrote that....lmao....springs is a has been...hasnt done shit in years...and the other guys mentioned have hardly any experience....if the system dosent work they are fucked....
Whilite started most of the last half of the season as a rookie and filled in great, played solid.
Bodden was in Cleveland and played under Romeo(same sytem) ans flourished, was traded to Detroit in the shaun rodgers deal last year and well, did what every player does when they go to Detroit, he died.
Merriweather came into his own as a hard hitter and ball hawk last season and you have Chung and Sanders rotating at FS.
Springs is a ? mark for sure, most washington fans I talked to tell me when he's playing he is a above average corner. So we shall see.
I truly think you might be a bit misguided on the revamp of the defensive backfield they have done over the past two seasons.
Like with every team, performance remains to be seen though.
They have TREMENDOUS depth on their team (minus QB)
NFL=injuries
depth=winning
give a pats fan a hug
