New TO Powerlifting and the board

hey everyone..im new to the board.. and powerlifting. im 14, 5'5" 130lbs...

im really getting interested in powerlifting...i was doing a body building routine, but i found i like lifting heavy weights, more then i like bodybuilding....at least some aspects of it

well here are my lifts.
Bench 185
Squat 255
Deadlift 320
all of these are without bench shirts, squat and deadlift suits

im interested in a good powerlifting routine, that will help my lifts....but i dont want my other body parts to lag behind.

any advice would be appreciated. thanks
 
thanks, i was going to look through the back posts, but i was in a rush and didnt want to be late for my lifting session...any tips that you could give would help to...
 
Hey bro sup welcome to the boards your not the only yougning here I'm 17 and my lil bro lifts with me he's 14. We both train westside started 5 weeks ago like most of the guys on this board. You can check old posts on here and find out how westside is trained you'll find alot of my posts of stupid routines that I used to go by training like a BB:bawling: , shoooot not anymore now it's all power. So train hard and train smart.
 
you are definately on the right track and in the right place to learn.

Good to have you. If you are wanting to know what the guys here do in a hurry go to elitefts.com or deepsquatter.com, look at the archived articles for anything written by Dave Tate or Louie Simmons. Especially the 9 week basic training program. That would be an excellent way to start out.

thanks everyone.... i've haerd alot about west side training.. i heard its really effective, and from reading through backposts it has worked for a lot of you...

they have westside trainng on deepsquatter.com i think...
