Thanks Zed will I do that starting tue. I've always been worried bout training hard with my legs as there big anyway don't really want them any bigger there solid but could do with bit more definition.

I'm a lot the same. There's parts of my legs that need a bit of growth but overall they're already big so I don't go quite as heavy as I used to, especially for calves. The definition, for me, comes when I cut and lower my overall bf.

Hey suga on your cardio squats forgot to tell you, keep that weight over the ball of your foot. This is contrary to your real workout squats and I know that. This is more for your quads. In time I may move you to Ft squats instead but lets go with this for now and see what comes about.

Zed I managed to get to the gym on a rest day done 20 mins cardio then 5x15 cont squats like you suggested balls of my feet they really took it out of me lol. Proves there doing good then!! Lol. Thanks buddy I have a sat spare so would it be ok to keep my 2 cardio days through the week @ 40 mins then sat do 20 mins & these squats just until I start getting heavier on my weights then I will need the rest days?

Yeah suga thats fine. As to when you get to the heaier weights, most likely you will have to give up on the high rep stuff. We will just cross that bridge when we get to it. Just be sure and let me know how your doing on both.
 
Day 14 rest day!! Ok thanks Zed I will do that. Would I loose any muscle while I'm lifting light if so will it come back easy I'm getting slightly paranoid that I'm loosing size on my shoulders and arms maybe it's in my head lol!

Its not really going away. Wtih all the extta sets you are doing right now you are using up fat stores. There are fat stores even inside of those muscles that you have built up and you are burning those out now and thats just fine. You are also getting your connective tissues ready for the huge stress that you gonna be putting on them and again thats a good thing for you to be doing. Be thinking on how you gonna increase fats and protein when you get about mid way cuz you gonna really need to.

Yeah I will work on that @ the minute I'm 150g of protein and eating clean most my protein now comes from foods only 2 shakes per day as for fats I've been staying away from all that with eating clean but if this is permission to maybe take a couple cheat days I'm up for that lol! I eat almonds and olive oil every day bout 8 almonds and tspoon olive oil for good fats. Any changes I should make ? Thanks again Zed your a legend!

Yeah your low on fats suga. Put one tablespoon of olive oil in your shakes, both of them! You should notice an up swing in mood and your joint will really start to feel good too. Also may be a bit hornier too.:) Typical for guyz but not sure bout you chikas....
Any time now go on and take a cheat day. The extra cals are not gonna hurt you one bit. Just dont go too crazy there suga.

Right now at maintenance. Then when you get to that halfway point increase by 500 cals. Or if you feel that you need to do it sooner then that then fine.
Also correct on the winny and test.

I'm curious if you are holding the winny/test as in stopping it for now?? What made you decide that? What are you eating for a maintenance level for calories? Would test increase appetite?? I have no idea but just curious.

Hey Cg. Yeah I decided to hold as I'm in the early stages of 5x5 so I'm required to lift light I'm going to save my gear for mid way as I start to increase weight and need that extra push , a normal day would start with oats 2 egg whites 1 whole egg 2 spoons lf peanut butter. Then shake after workout lunch chicken breast lf cot cheese tomatoes celery two eggs. Evening meal steak corn salad potatoes small new pots . Snack fruit salad. I found my appertite increasing last couple days as I noticed I'm slight loosing weight could be a coincidence. I did get a slight increase when started the test but nothing as much as now. Thanks for following Cg hope your well!

Yes the test will increase appetite due to the increase in more muscle mass.
 
Suga for riight now feeling hungry is ok, BUT when you get up into your heavier weights if you feel hungry then eat protein. Your bod will be telling you it needs more fuel to build more mass. And sista I mean MASS!

Got that Zed. I think lol! I get hungry after tea 7pm - when I'm not supposed to have carbs lol It might settle now I've stopped the test it's a horrible nagging feeling carbs carbs carbs lol that's all I can think of I even tried taking a thermobol to take it away lol but doesn't work.

Hmmm....well just think, when you get into the heavy weights you can have a small cup of ice cream! And then just put a dab of natty PB on top of it and call it all good!!

Sounds like a good idea..save the gear for when you're really lifting heavy. You're a great inspiration. I'm gonna get back on a program here soon and maybe start a log too. :)

So tell me how you're feeling and how you like the 5 x 5 program. Would you recommend it? I've been missing my across the pond friend. Sorry I've been hit and miss lately. The competitors did NOT get me!!! Ha!! This is the only website I will use! Feels like I've got family on here!! I am going to re-download my elite fitness app...mine doesn't work right now and that's what I was using before and has super easy access. It was tons easier to access. Besides my school work I hardly ever get on the computer as I just use my phone!

How's your job going? Any cool gigs lately? Have you very had to 'bow' up on somebody? Meaning had to physically put somebody in their place while on the job!? You're my hero!! LOL. Congrats on the training plan. You are keeping to it and kicking some zombie ass! Great job!

1. Make a freind in Germany. Then inviete yourself to go visit her and then go sauna with her. They love to sauna and it is all nude. You will see that you really do get over it very quickly, seriously.

2. You know competitors have to wear swim suits, skimpy 2 pc units.......you should get one and wear it around the house. You should also post pics of you in it for us.....well me anyway!:heart:

As for 5x5 I'm loving it it's a great challenge every session to add weight I look forward to gym more than ever before. Also I did think I lost a little size at first but just for a wk or two I've got it all back now only looking a little more defined.

As for work I had tiny temper and Britney spears last week both were great then we had arctic monkeys and that was like one big riot so hard to control the Crowd was glad when it was over! Haha thanks you made my day I've never been a hero before lol!!

School is over for me for 2 months. Earned my BS in health sciences (that's what I just finished). I start sonography school (ultrasound) in January. So the way I look at it I've got 2 months to kick some serious ass on this program (I'll obviously keep it up after school starts in January but I'm thinking I have two months to focus solely on workin out and getting to the gym)
Things have just been crazy here...we had my mother-in-law in town some of last week and over the weekend. Shes from
Virginia. Her husband died 1 year ago from
Pancreatic cancer and she was here the day of his 1-year anniversary..so pretty stressful and emotional for her (and us). Also my husband started a new job on Monday and he works out of our house now so I've been like the free tech help this week (setting up his computer, getting printers to work, setting up wireless, etc..). I think in the future I will
Pretend like I don't know how all that technology works!! Ha!! So now it's Jen time! Going to get my ass back on the horse.
Still can't get my app to work..finally just deleted it. Not sure what that's about but it is a pain in the ass and sucks big snakes (that ones for you and Zed! I still laugh every time I think of you saying you 'hate them things'!!)

So the way I look at it I've got 2 months to kick some serious ass on this program (I'll obviously keep it up after school starts in January but I'm thinking I have two months to focus solely on workin out and getting to the gym)
Things have just been crazy here...we had my mother-in-law in town some of last week and over the weekend. Shes from
Virginia. Her husband died 1 year ago from
Pancreatic cancer and she was here the day of his 1-year anniversary..so pretty stressful and emotional for her (and us). Also my husband started a new job on Monday and he works out of our house now so I've been like the free tech help this week (setting up his computer, getting printers to work, setting up wireless, etc..). I think in the future I will
Pretend like I don't know how all that technology works!! Ha!! So now it's Jen time! Going to get my ass back on the horse.
Still can't get my app to work..finally just deleted it. Not sure what that's about but it is a pain in the ass and sucks big snakes (that ones for you and Zed! I still laugh every time I think of you saying you 'hate them things'!!)

Haha yeah actually it did resemble a circus Jen they are a band I love there music if you ever heard of oasis it's that kind of band,

As for the tech lol you do remind me so much of me if anyone needs tech sorted they come to me lol though how I learned to do it I don't know was an accident lol and of corse as time goes bye things get more complicated and it's like relearning over again it's something if always loved doing very strange i love a challenge ,
Do u use iPhone ? I had the same problem with a forum app I called apple and they sorted it for me over the phone sometimes my phone has a mind of its own lol, as for the snake lmfao Zed and his dam snake lol! Nice to see your sticking around looking forward to following ya progress.

Sorry you don't feel good D! I don't like my friend being sick! It sucks. Hope you feel better soon! Look at you though, still working it even not feeling good! I'm headed to the gym in a few hours to do pull exercises and I'm stoked. Getting back on EF has put my drive back in me.

Has anyone ever wondered why there is a cat with a chef's hat in the icons? Is there a story behind it?

Yes, I do use an iphone. It's weird because the app worked fine for weeks and then one day it just quit working. I can access the forums but I cannot reply to anyone's post. I hardly ever log on to my computer so it was just extremely handy to have my app. I will give AT&T a call today and see if they can help me. Did you call Apple or your cell phone carrier?
You and me are alot alike!! except you've got tons bigger muscles!! (jealous!!) My husband has a huge printer and all kinds of drivers he's wanting me to install now but I'm trying to put it off as long as possible!! :) Not that I mind helping but there's other stuff I need to do. Yep, crazy times over here in Georgia!! I'm looking forward to getting to the gym today.

Hahaha I nearly chocked on my drink reading this lmfao!! ...I would start a day with oats 2egg whites 1 full egg tbl spoon Lf peanut butter tspoon olive oil few almonds ...
Then post workout shake...
Lunch chic breast Lf cottage cheese celery tomatoes two eggs...
Evening meal steak corn lf cottage cheese potatoes couple small new potatoes....
If I feel like something sweet Lf jello or 2% fat yogurt or fresh fruit salad
Then last shake...

I sometimes mix it up a bit may be chic twice or tuna f lunch then steak next day depends and lately been trying to have smoked cod/haddock once a wk staring to like the taste now used to hate fish.

Hey Jen!! how are you today?, I average around 2200 a day and I keep track with calorie counter app it's great @ first I had to weigh everything but my app remembers them as my fav foods so it's so much easier now and I got good at looking at meat etc and knowing the rough weight which is near enough saves messing with scales etc!

Wow your husband isn't a member of EF lol he doesn't know what he's missing haha.............:rainbow:

I'm great ATM thanks Jen lol no no gigs since monkeys on bikes lmao I had a wk off as next week I'm doing a 60 hour wk. I do some 12 hour shifts but the majority are normal 5-8 next week is a one off and I'm glad because how I'm going to fit training in I don't know lol.
Glad your well and as for apps I use one called calorie counter I did use fit day but found that was more American foods were as cal counter is British. My other half loves keeping fit she plays and teaches English footy and spends her days delivering mail walks around 10 mile per day lol.

Hey! I recently downloaded an app for my daughter called My Fitness Pal... It was free and cool cuz you can scan the barcode on foods if you don't want to search for them... You can also add your gym work. The only downfall is that there are no calories attached to the strength exercises (only cardio). Anyhow, after I got it for my daughter I started using it and it's pretty cool. I will say that I was shocked to find that I am averaging 3200 calories a day! And since I don't do cardio, it keeps telling me I'm guna weigh like 300 lbs if I keep this diet up hahahahah

That sounds pretty much like the calorie counter app I have you can also scan on that one and it's great it breaks down you days food so you know protein fats carbs etc technology these days is amazing lol.

No prob sugazombie. Dont ever sweat the cardio. Do you best to get your workout in and if you manage to then gr8 and if you dont then skip that one and pick up with your next. Take care sista!
