sicklydiesel said:according to FONZ...at even low dosages such as 12.5 and 25mcg, your thyroid shuts down, so there is no point in ramping up so slow...i think it would be healthier for your thyroid to stay on less time by decreasing your ramp up time.
25mcg is a full replacement dose, so you are correct it does shut down. 6.25-12.5mcg will likely not shut you down
I'm not relying 100% on the T3 to get me ripped. One of the reasons natural dieting is so difficult is because of the decrease of T4 converting to T3. You lowered your calories and your body doesn't want to change so it slows down your thyroid production.
This usually happens to me in week 3 of strict dieting, that's when you need to push the enveloppe lowering calories to dangerous catabolic levels.
In theory, 25mcg will yield good results by substituting the lossed T3 as a results of caloric intake reduction.
And, Trust me I'd love to start out with 50mcg or so and then ramp down, but I'm taking the necessary precautions to ensure that I don't do any serious damage. It is important to ramp up IMO.
