My new bicep burn !

A buddy of mine today from my gym showed me a cool exercise; he’s an amateur bodybuilder and PT, guys calves are SIC!!!!!...anyways what you do is lay on a flat bench and do curls laying down, you bring your arms down like on an incline bench, only you do this on a flat, let me tell you ! It was INSANE, a burn & pump like no other I have had, and I think this will be a killer new exercise for me to add into my routine.

Has anyone done these, what can you tell me about your experience using this technique?
 
you lay down on a reg flat bench with db's in each hand letting your arms hang over the edge, kinda being pulled down by the weight. then curl the weight bending at the elbow. i liked to keep my arms at somewhat of an angle when i used to do these. and keeping your pinky higher than your thumb simply means turning your wrist outward until it is higher than the thumb
 
i love that exercise............. i havent done it in forever as seeing how i dont really train biceps anymore.

Well if he`s laying on his belly it sure is but if he`s laying on his back, it sounds like an incline curl minus the incline.

Hey Jollyroger....Which way are you laying on the bench ..........
missionary position or with her on top ???
 
....you lay on the bench like normal (back) and curl up the db's , keeping strict form, keeping the elbows locked in position, you do a 90 degree to 90 degree controlled swinging motion and stipulate your thumbs out and down to really contract the biceps for an incredible and solid pump...:)
