in the attic. Attic door was left open by stepmom. Cat went between floor joists and was crying inside the roof of the back porch. I undid the outside light so there was a hole she could have come out of and called for her, but she had quit crying. :worried: I went in the attic, but she had gone under the floor to the other side. There is no way humanly possible to get over there. I left the light on hoping she will find her way back to the attic part. I also left a bowl of salmon hoping that the smell will bring her in the right direction. She isn't crying for me anymore when I call for her, though. I am worried that she died. :bawling:

Call one of those pest control places... they always have the gear to get animals our of tight spaces in houses...

I don't want to kill her. :worried:

God, you think she died in there? She sounded so pitiful when I would call her and she would cry for me. Then, she stopped answering my calls at all.

Probably just found a comfy place to sleep.

I just got her out. :elephant:

She plopped on out of the hole where the light fixture was and onto the gas grill on the back porch. Glad we were not barbequing...lol. She was so cold. I gave her some salmon. She is happy now.

That is the most mischievious little cat I have ever had.

YAY!

My tubby cat would probably get stuck in the hole - 1/2 way in , 1/2 way out.....
ha! i used to have a fatty catty like that too. This one is now meowing like crazy insisting I let her in the bedroom with me. She isn't allowed in here, though, because the other day, she peed on my bed.

when I was real young I remember my dad cutting a hole in the ceiling to free a mom cat that found a cubby hole to have her kittens in
my sister's and I were asking what's up with this shit
what are you doing dad?
why did she do that
etc.

You have a sweet dad. Lots would just let them die. I don't have the heart to do that.

my moms cat plays catch. toss the ball and she brings it back and actually drops it. better than most dogs even.
I had a cat that would do that with tin foil balls. He loved it.

we had cats when I was young
I guess it was figured one of my sisters' had allergys
then we had german shepherds
my dad doesn't come around to my place often
but he notices the attentiveness of my 2 cats
no they aren't going to hurt him
they hop to and get ready
they're cool,but they're on guard

and these dog fans that claim a cat can't mirror the loyalty of a dog

I have a linen closet I have to keep my cat away from because it has a small opening that leads to the plumbing fixtures that supply my bathtub, and is open to all the area under and behind the tub. He could get his ass stuck in the floor somewhere. And he is drawn to it, too, whenever I have to open that closet door.

Cat, meet curiosity.
Curiosity, meet cat.
Curiosity says, "What was that thing that they say about us?"
Cat says, "Shoot, I don't remember. Wanna go hang out?"

LOL...you know who my true love is. :qt:

phew glad you got her out. I was just packing my bags to come rescue her!

I know of someone that lost their cat. They found it ONE MONTH later built into a retaining wall. The cat got into the base of the wall as they were building it. Workers came the next day to finish the wall and the cat, I guess, got spooked and stayed in the base. A neighbor heard it cry one day (one month later) and they broke down the wall to get the cat out. Cat was ok, dehydrated and hungry.
Cats are silly....
HEATHER block that opening!!!!!

In a building next door to where I work, they were remodelling a storefront and tore down a wall, and found a dessicated cat inside. It had probably been there for over 80 years.
