My dog was put to sleep this morning.

After my last Jack Russel died I swore I'd never get another....Recently a friend's dog had two pups, one died at birth and the mother passed away when the last one was 2 weeks old, he was going to put the pup down as well...I couldn't bear that so I have raised this dog since then....Never thought I'd get attached again, but I truly love this little fella and he is very attached to me...

I call him "Rascal" do to the "Did I do that" look he gives me at times....

I am sorry for your loss, but eventually another will come along to once again capture your heart....

Funny how that works. In the end, pet people are pet people no matter what. It almost never fails. Whenever I or anyone else I know has lost a pet, we always swear we'll never get another, or we say that it'll be a long time before we're ready for a new one. But each time, there has been a new member of the family within a month.
