MM107's Venture to the 5x5. Magazine Covers, Here i Come! ( Pics Inside too)

Assistance Work:
Suspended Pushups. Hung chains from the sqaut rack so i could do pushups in it (DONT WORRY THE GYM WAS EMPTY LOL)
4 sets @ 12 reps.

Additional Notes: Quick friday workout. Only because The gym got flooded and was soakeing wet, and just got out of the mood, Thank god i hit my lifts before the flooding really got bad, but it still took my focus off the gym. Its cool tho, because i hit my numbers and im happy with that.

Food notes: Weekend went for a movie shoot so didnt eat too much. but got fed breakfast/lunch. Had a big dinner. Sunday i had ALOT of carbs from bagels. I thought of it as my 'carb load' day lol. But honestly i did want to LOAD up on my carbs.

Also picked up some Whole Wheat Pancake Mix & Sugar Free Syrup (15cals). Will be making some for this week, just to get the needed calories for the last 2 weeks on the program. Ill throw some protein powder in them too so they will be chocolate Pancakes. hmmm so good lol

About Squatting:
I was getting nice and deep in the hole. I read this paper on the wall at the gym, some real motivational shit. Basically saying its you vs. the bar. It really pushed me. I TOLD MYSELF "DONT YOU STOP UNTILL YOU PUKE TODAY". WELL. GOT TO REP 14, BLACKOUT KICKED IN, ALOST ROLLED THE BAR OFF THE BACK, BUT I COUGHT IT. SPOOTER WOULDNT LET ME DO ANOTHER ONE LMAO.

Workout Notes:
Actually did some cleans today, light work, just to try to get the form down. Had some1 show me. Some big football player. Who i seen doing them.
Did 55kg for singles. Ill get a video so u guys can rip apart my form.

Today i will be doing only ABS =] Some light cardio. Trying to recover from that 14 rep sets of Legs. Wont be doing that untill i start maxing again. I think i could hit like 350x1 ATLEAST. Im hoping more.

BUT OVERALL, AMAZING GYM DAY. FELT REAL GOOD AND STRONG TODAY.

you know i was gonna bring the camera in there yesterday but i just didnt for some reason. NOW i wish i would have. I know safety came into to playa role, but my spotter smart enough forced me to rack the weight. I WANTED 15 so bad. BUT when it got EXTREMELY exhausted he knew i was done. thank god lol

The Rows were preety solid. The other day i hit 208 x 3 , but my feet were wet from the flooding in the gym so i just didnt have good balance. But on monday i nailed them. Thank god.

OH YES i was buzzing, everyone i saw that nigght i told.

it went like this...

i was in such a europhic mood from all the endorphines and shit it was great!

Weds im brining in the camera =] Maybe even go for the 500.
 
Yesterday was Abs + Some light cardio day.

Well i hit the abs nice and hard.

10reps 5s holds on bottom @ 4 sets Decline Bench

Rubberband work for abs
Strapped Purple band around arms Did 25 reps. Declien Bench

Royal Chair Work
20x3

Abs stabilzation work (Where you sit, hold knees, lean back and balance)
10s holds X 10



Cardio Time!

Boxing

hit the speedbag
jumped some rope
hit the heavy bag

The above combined took about 30-35 mins. We got kicked out of the room by a arobics class that was coming in.

Today is a big deadlift day for me. I brought in the camera. Hope to hit high numbers today. BUT i know i have to hit 435x5 first before i worry about going for any singles.
