MM, first off, great progress, looking jacked in the pics.

Here is a link with olympic lift instruction by Gayle Hatch, I think it is detailed and a great resource as far as internet resources go.

http://www.aceathlete.com/hatch/video.htm

If you want ot incorporate olympic lifting, you can replace the barbell rows and chins with olympic lifts, you can also replace deadlifts or alternate deadlifts with one of the lifts every other week. From personal experience, it is hard to push olympic lifts and deadlifts in the same training cycle.

Another option, while you're learning is to do a morning session of olympic lifting, then do your regular workouts in the afternoon.

Regardless of what you do, it is helpful to learn the full squat versions of the lifts, in my opinion, learning the power versions first tends to teach an incorrect pull and horrendous catch positioning. I would practice lots of overhead squats and front squats and get really comfy at the bottom.

I have pondered the thought of adding push presses somewhere in my routine as well. It is just a matter of where in the routine. I'll probably hold off on it until I can figure it out.

You could sub them for incline on your next run of the program. The last part is important; don't change a bunch of variables or add major lifts in the middle of the program (morning sessions to practice technique with low weights would be an exception).

Thanks again all!

BigT, thanks for the site, i was looking for that specific one too!

Im chasing 500 right now, so i dont want to interfere with that battle. So i might incorporate them alittle later into the workout.

I like the indea of subing them for inclines ones in a while. thanks CS!

I tried to overhead sqaut on friday for fun, WOW it was hard. i only had 20lbs loaded on the bar, but shit balancing yourself is crazy hard like that. I can tell now its going to be hard, but its so different.

Whats the actual benefit of Ovherhead Sqauts?

BigT, i see what u mean by learn the squat versions first, and as usualy with your adivce ill make sure to learn the sqaut version really good before the power version.

Thanks again, Ill be posting my friday routine in a bit!
