MM107's Venture to the 5x5. Magazine Covers, Here i Come! ( Pics Inside too)

105x5 - New PR! Was able to get it, could have came down just a bit further on 1or2 reps, but needless they were good reps @ 105

Deadlift:
260x5
310x5
360x5
415x5 - New PR! NOW this was tough. ass down, chest up. Nailed 3 easy, The other 2, i battled. Didnt jerk or anything, went up slowly, but still smoothly. Next week 425 is coming! I was sore from Monday's Workout, did some pullthroughs, so it def hindered my recovery as i went into the deadlift still sore. BUT was able to win the battle. :evil: :evil:

No accessory work today, was really winded, so i would use what i had left as recovery energy.

Felt good tho, was fun actually, some gathered around during my deadlift, i got REAL LOUD. Screamin for my last 2 sets to get it up. Hadda be a funny sight, me screaming at the bar " fuck you your going up mother fucker, light weight bitch, fuck you mother fucker" lol now thats anot of "F" words. So it hadda be a funny sight. <!!- moron at the gym story, lol maybe if it was 200lbs.

Today im going to actually go box for a bit, shadow box, hit the speed bag, heavy bag, flying knees, etc. ?Maybe some step mill action, but dont want to tap too much into recovery for tommarow.

Overall 10/10 on a workout scale yesterday.

Took off ysterday, could have went in to do some cardio, boxing, etc.

BUT i was sore from my PR on WEDS and felt it would be better if i took a day off for recovery. Felt good i slept alot. So i hope i healed quicker.

Today is a my 3 rep day. I LIKE the 3 rep range, always felt comfortable in that range.

Next week is week 7, time flies huh. Week 9 is almost here,
Week 9 my deadlift is 460x5. SO 500 would be in the bag if SHADES dont get to it first. He hit 485x1, hes got good progress, but he can platue, i dont want him too, but i think thats the only chance i got if he stalls a bit. lol
but im pulling my ass off, so if you betted on me, if u seen me training u would know i was going for 500, since i let everyone at the gym know i was going for 500, i hear that every day i deadlift, get 500 yet? lol

My advantage on the deadlift, is that i havnt ever trained the deadlift, so i shouldnt platue anytime soon.

Thanks for the respect MM. I have been doing deads oh for about 6 weeks now. I had done them back in high school but that was the last time I did them seriously. Are you waiting until week 9 for the big 500 pull? I start week 5 next week and it is going to be tough.

Yea shades, nothing but respect here bro, ur numbers are incredible, and i dont need to bash anyone in any competiton, unless its freindly ya know!

I might wait untill like week 8, because my 3 rep max should be around 450 by then, so yea, i wont be going for it untill week 8, so YOU CAN TRAIN YA ASS OFF for a bit before worrrying about me pulling anything. At least 2 more weeks. If i can hit 425x5, then i should be able to hit 450x3, wich in turn means i might be able to hit 500x1, fresh.

This competition really made me work my ass of tho shades and i gotta thank you for that! In fact i was being conservative, and 2 weeks ago tinkered my deadlift #'s to stay close in the competiton.

Besides, i get to scream, mother fucker no one beats me, during the deadlift, is very motivational! lol

Thanks Shades, and shit 485 looks fuckin great if i didnt tell ya yet.

Well diet of course, MM is better then anyone I know. But I have a couple training secrets that I use to get my Max lifts up. A little technique and after I see how MM does with it.... he can share. I know it works for me and was curious if it works for him. Sorry I am taking favorites. ;)

Thanks hick! Ill get that 500 reguardless! im gettin there!

Im still going strong, feel solid, recovery is still very good, This week is a good lift week for me, hitting some PR's. AGAIN. =]
