Mexican Gear

Okay, this may be a stupid question, but better to find out now than later. If I buy some gear in Mexico can I just haul that stuff back into the good ole USA or what? If so, are there limits to what I can bring--do I need a scrip to bring it in or what's the best way to go. Any advice will be appreciated. By the way, I'm not looking to haul a carload of stuff back, just enough for myself.

Bro I hope you dont plan on just carrying the gear across the border in plain sight. If you are bringing back just a personal stash I recommend shaving under your nut sack and taping the bottles under your nuts. Its a little uncomfortable but it works. Oh yeah, dont forget to look the bastards in the eye as you cross and show nothing but confidence. Good luck.

Sorry, I wasn't actually asking how to smuggle, I was asking if I needed to smuggle. I was not sure if
a.) I could just carry some gear across with a scrip
b.) a certain qty was legal to bring over w/o a scrip
So, I take it from your reply that I will need to smuggle anything I wish to bring back--that's what I wanted to know. Thanks and I'll use email for future discussions on this.

yep exactly, in theory your supposed to be able to bring back a 30 or 90 day supply of non scheduled goods back. This doesnt help you at all. Youd have to declare it, then its 50/50 and you cant take any of the good stuff anyways, so its useless and a hassle.
