1st off..

it's not like just meeting someone at a house party and banging them in the car or the bathroom..

they have known each other for some time and have even talked a bit on the phone..

what she is really afraid of is when they meet, if it doesn't work out, she will lose a "friend" that she has been using as an emotional crutch..
