Max-ot

Hey how you doin. Just wondering does anyone else here kinda disagree with the MAX-OT training program? I signed up for it, look through the week one training it has you doing legs monday, arms abs tuesday, shoulders traps wensday, back thursday, chest abs friday. I just don't agree with that. I have always trained like back and chest on opposite dayus of the week. And when i have to train 2 days in a row, i try and take a day off between workouts, it is something like arms and legs. There is no break between workouts until weekend. I think all the other trainings principles are true. I just dissagree with the training every day. Anyone else feel the same? Anyone get good results?

yo man,
the max out program has changed the way i workout forever. After eaching a 3 monthe plateua, i joined up with the max out prog and have been ganning ever since.

lately I have been training 4 days straight, then 3 off and repeat. In the past I have done 6 days straight, one day off. I have even trained 3x a day(45 minutes) for 6 days with one day off. Its all about change and no matter your approach, if you stay with the same routine, you are gonna platue a hell of a lot sooner than mixing it up. The human body is great at adapting.

"bump"

I just wantd to here people's though on this program? I just started it this week i feel okay but im not sure if its any good. Also is everyone always sore after a workout. Cause my biceps never get sore?

I love Max-Ot and have used it for a while now. I feel it is a very good program and they even have a sample mass diet as well

max-ot is based on overload and intensity...what's there not to like???if you r truly using your maximum poundages for the prescribed # of reps,in this case being 4-6,you WILL grow.as for training 5 days/week...why not???in addition, they recommend a 1 week break every 8-10 weeks of str8t training.it makes total sense to me.:fro:

max ot just doesn't seem to have enough sets per body part. doesn't exhaust the muscle.

Exhausting the muscle does not make it grow. That is the whole point of Max OT. We have lived for too long believing that exhaustion ='s growth. If you want to see an example of exhaustion look at a marathon runner. If you want to look at intensity in action look at top level bodybuilders.

like 4 years ago when i was training in high school for football me and a good friend use try and find good training programs. One day he stumbled apon the max ot. Well we tried it out and had unbelieveable success. It really is a great program. I dont really follow it stricly now but i use all its ideas and concepts. I suggest giving it a shot if you have to tweek it a lil go for it.

If you dont like training 5 days in a row, do 3, break, 2 break, repeat. There are also suggestions for 3 or 4 day a week splits in the program.

Max-ot is the base of all my training, it is absolutely superb, following max-ot principles, i went from 155-195 naturally....I still follow it...in fact, I'm going to try taking a different approach (GVT) when I start my next cycle, but Max-ot will be there for me when I am off...goes gret with something like oxandrolone/creatine..just watch the joints, buy glucosamine for real cheap at kilosports.com and USE it...I use about 5 grams per day.
