Honestly, I feel badly about speaking languages other than that which is the language of the majority in a given area. When in Greece, I speak Greek. However, while here, I speak English. I feel it serves to avoid separating myself from others, as I already am much too internalized as it stands.

One of my English professors spoke over 12 languages fluently. He was involved in Naval Intelligence. He felt it was wrong to speak a different language in the presence of those who could not understand it, and that it would seem as if you you are talking about those people secretly. And, face it, often enough, we are doing just that.

It's a movie...I like it because it isn't brainless (which I don't mind either) and it makes you think. Even if it fucks you up mentally for a little while, it is stimulating none the less.

Then again I'm one of those crazy people who always ask why...very analytical.

My question now is I am begining to think that neo himself is just another program, doing his job... Makes you think.

yep. this is exactly my thought. The architect referred to neo as the sum of an irreconcilable anomaly remaining after the construction of the matrix. Which makes one wonder, how can neo be human if his genesis was directly conceived by the mathematical leftovers that coded the matrix?

Its a good parallel and fits in nicely with the subplot with agent smith. Agent smith is just looking for purpose. Just another sentient AI program operating independently of the singular consciousness that’s looking for purpose. Just like neo.

They’re both a digital creation who are searching for deeper meaning within the matrix besides their intended or partially intended function. Which leads to the paradoxical conclusion of an AI sentient program, confined within the digital reality of the matrix - the very pseudo reality that’s holding the human race hostage - which ultimately defeats humanities adversary and emancipates human beings from AI enslavement.


That’s what im thinking at the moment. Took me a little while to make the connection between Zion and the architects (difficult to follow at times) monologue. But yea.

Im thinking the 'human' saboteur whose a citizen of Zion is really an AI program intended to undermine human resistance against the machines during the last battle in Reloaded. The architect mentioned the machines, or the AI had become exceedingly efficient in destroying Zion. But that assumption leads to some inconsistencies. Such as, why did the eventual saboteur previously attempt to assassinate neo but reconsidered at the last moment?
