Matrix Discussion

i dunno, this whole thing kinda aggravates me. I can't stand not being able to comprehend a story thoroughly cause It's too complicated and riddles with so much "inside" secrets that only the creators of the story know and they tease you with it.

They need an official FAQ of what the Architect said on the Matrix website.

Interesting though how he mentioned to the Architect that the machines needed humans for energy, and the Architect said that they were prepared for an alternative plan should human existence be wiped out. If that were the case, why wouldn't they have wiped out humans to begin with.

correction, he said that they were prepared to deal with different levels of human existence...to me, that means that as long as the humans can produce energy, that's all that matters to them.

I think I'll sneak in a tape recorder if I see it again, so I can catch what the Architect says!

He kept saying that there was something different about this version of Neo...foreshadowing that something different will happen this time around.

I also heard on the radio this morning that Matrix Revolution is one long battle. The reason they are putting it out so soon is because it isn't actually another sequel, but part 2 of this one. Whatever it ends up being, I am really looking forward to seeing it.

Help me comprehend MATRIX RELOADED

Hi ppl, I'm going to watch Matrix Reloaded this Saturday (Can't wait), with about 20 friends.
I've read from threads about the complexity and incomprehensibitlity of the storyline or certain scenes etc.

Anyway, I was wondering those who are well conserved or the "matrix experts", please tell me what I need to look out for, or explain me the scenes that are going to be complex.

As half of my mates are going to be thick as f**** and they will be totally dumbfounded.

Come on ppl, help.

The plot to me was totally unexpected, I am still unable to understand it, mainly because so much is unexplained and the world as you know it in Matrix has been turned up-side down.

If you catch all the shit that The Architect says and you actually understand it, then you have one up on me.

Post on here after you see it and tell me what you thought.

It's a fun movie though. You'll probably like it.

Listen closely to the conversation Agent Smith has with Neo about "purpose."

Listen closely to the conversation with the Oracle.

Listen closely to the conversation with the French dude and his wife.

And as others above have mentioned listen very, very closely to the Architect.

Basically the whole search for "The One" happens once every few years. The One always ends up facing the architect at the same time, and then The One is given a choice: choose a few males and females to repopulate Zion, or deny it and have every person in Zion killed.

So what does the ONE in this case choose to do?

Yeah, Everyone I spoke to has said the conversation with the architect was definitely grammatically challenging to say the least.
Shall i take a dictionary with me! LOL
