If we assume that the Strongman sport is about real-world functional strength then I find it pretty damning on bodybuilding that he could be considered a no-hoper due to poor genetics.

In terms of functional physique, he is, presumably, the best male on the planet (some suggest ever) and, as such, his proportions are functionally ideal. It would suggest that bodybuilding has strayed somewhere along the line.
