Looking for honest critique

Not bad at all especially starting with those legs, you just need a shave in the worst way. Do some higher reps for your upper body with some good amounts of cardio and dieting and you'll be on your way.

off topic, but - dude doesn't need a shave. MEN ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE HAIR ON THEIR BODIES. Unless the dude is competing, there is no need to shave. doesn't look like he has back hair.

Devastation, thanks. I am really worried about the upper body. Hopefully I can develop like legs seem to be coming along.

hrt39, Should 3 of those meals be protein shakes?

habitualhealth, thank you sweetie. You too keep up the good work. Can't wait to see results. Who knows maybe we will see each other in Bora Bora...LOL

I would say switch the cardio and training if you can. Cardio in the AM on an empty stomach is better for weight loss. I wouldn't be too concerned with too much cardio. Just listen to your body - don't push yourself to the point of harm. I am cutting right now and am doing cardio 5-6 times a week in the AM on an empty stomach.

Ok, here are the stats as of 2-21-05 (start date)

Weight 185.8
Bodyfat 18.9/12.8

---Current--------------------------GOALS
Neck 15-1/2
Chest 42-1/4 -----------------------44-46
Lt arm (flex) 12 (13-3/4)-----------(16)flex
Rt arm (flex) 12-1/2 (14)-----------(16)flex
Abs 36-3/4 -------------------------32-34
Lt leg 23-1/2
Rt leg 23-1/4
Lt calf 16
Rt calf 16

I train from 7-8am (weights) and cardio at 630-730pm.
I am not really 100% sure how many cals I should be consuming. I want to loose the fat (see my abs) and of course gain some muscle. I don't want to be counter productive in doing too much cardio, if that made any sense.

I will list supps and diet later tonight. Thanks all for the feedback, it really helps and keeps me going.

:newbie:

KillahBee, I have to lift in the AM and cardio in the PM. I have to do it this way for atleast 3 months. It's the way that my schedule is right now. Does that mean that I have to do a little extra cardio to burn off some extra fat?

not necessarily, the idea behind cardio in the morning on an empty stomach is that you will burn primarily fat BUT what it really comes down to is:

if calories spent > calories taken in

you will lose weight. Just make sure to eat the right kinds of foods so that you can keep as much muscle as possible.

hard to tell your waistline by your pic but cutting your love handles would make all the difference the world on your physique. some extra muscle may make burning fat easier.

best way to burn calories is get involved in a sport that you LIKE (basketball, bikeriding, tennis, racquetball, surfing ) so cardio is not a dreaded chore like a stationary bike or eliptical machine. can either of these POSSIBLY be fun?
