Looking for honest critique and help...

I have been lurking the boards for a while. I have made it a goal to get back in shape for 2005. Not only for myself but for my 3.5 year old daughter. I want to make sure that I am around long enough to enjoy watching her grow up. Here are a few pics. I will post all stats and dieting later tonight.

I am just wondering with hard work and dedication what is possible for me to attain? Do I have the genetics for putting on some muscle? Forgive me for being ignorant, but I am learning as I go. I believe that posting here will help me tremendously in acheiving my goals.

Thanks !!

hard work and determination can make up for what you lack in genetics

legs look like they have potential. it takes time and effort man, genetics is a terrible excuse in my book. you could ALWAYS look better than you do now

Legs have some size for just starting out. Hard work, heavy weights, and good food eaten 6 times a day, should make a big difference.

Dude, you could look bad in 6-8 months by busting some ass. You're barely out of shape and you have something to work with as far as your frame goes. Get moving.

Legs are definitely lookin good -- just stick w/ the plan & you'll be a very happy EF'er in 6-8 weeks!

OK, here are the pics for the non-plats:

Let me know what you think. Posting all stats in a few.

not bad at all bro. you have a good base to start with. Some sound eating habits, cardio, and training routine and you'll see results in no time. Keep in mind though, this is a game for the patient, which is one of the biggest challenges for both of us. Rome wasn't built in a day. good luck and keep us updated.
