He was what I'm going to say is a small guy. 5-11 185. This cat had #500 freaking pounds on this Smith machine. Yes I said machine. I'm doing my thing not wanting to be SOOOOO obvious waiting to see this miracle squat happen. I waited and waited untill finally he had his audience. I have to give the dude credit just for unracking it, but that was the lift. I will give him the benefit of thinking that maybe he was just getting use to the weight. right!

What? You mean he did not mummify his knees with wraps.... take up a wide stance squat position and then dip his hips - not bend his knees - but stick his ass out backwards so the bar moved down two inches and then power that mutha back up?

speak the truth, you are telling a story about yourself to gather response to judge whether or not you should claim it as your own and brag

LMAO - there is a guy in my gym that puts 10 plates a side on the leg press machine, then gets his brother to sit on top of it. He unracks it, and lets it decend at least 3", maybe 4" on a heavy day, and then lets out a roar Tarzan would be proud of during the "press" phase. He does at least 4 reps per set. All of the skinny high school kids are totally impressed with this guy.

Roaring isn't cool in my book, it does make you stronger and it gains a lot of attention. I would think he could stack about 4 more 45's where his brother sits.

Some guys knees simply can't handle going deep. If I go deep with bigger weight, my knees will be jacked for a couple weeks. What is the point?

We have this guy who is very proud of doing something like this though he goes deep enough. He is like 5'4".

Midgets with big wieghts don't impress me. I use more weight than him and I'm over 6' 5". Leg press is easy. I just did 75 reps with 400 (max) on the leg machine. Yawn.

Isn't there a couple of guys at every gym who load up the leg sled and do 1/4 repetitions? I always tell them to go down with it, 1/4 reps don't count.
