Let's be real here, it did look like Merriman pulled up slightly when he realized it was a fake........he was watching the qb when he got cracked. IT IS STILL impressive..........but if he came pads down and right down the pipe?, c'mon. He killed his momentum while the little running back exploded into him. Not taking anything away............but facts are facts, and I don't really like Merriman that much nor the chargers........I'm just being real.

Actually I heard a radio interview of MJD, and he said they scouted merriman, and most people try to block him in the legs. They knew he'd be expecting MJD to go low, and would try to hurdle him, so he took him up high, and he wasn't braced for the collision.
