I'll be sure to post a report on how good they are when they arrive. Will also post on how I made them.. I ordered two bags.. Hopefully they'll be as great as everyone claims!!!!

Heres a tip add a tiny bit of warm water to soften the Peanut butter,it makes a world of difference.

They are addicting!

Thank you. We will be sure to get them out to you tomorrow (next shipment out)..Please enjoy them. And also listen to Radar on this one, he happens to be an addict with the protein bars. HA.

yeah i gave him a discount code...i told him i loved the bars....cant get any fresher than them! I have to be careful when cutting down cause they are kinda like potatoe chips...i cant eat just one.

By the time I'm done mixing I have enough batter for about 2 bars. Hopefully you will have more willpower than I do

Man I was wondering if i was the only one...lol....i only get 10 bars per batch...cause i sample and eat it off my fingers.

It sounds like its more addicting than crack. maybe I shouldn't touch the batter??? I looked on needto's site and kitchen but I'm still somewhat confused on how to make them. Any suggestions? Do you guys arm the peanut butter in just a bowl or something? How long do you nuke it for???

Nevermind, you said add warm water to the peanut butter... ten four will do!!! I'm assuming you mean tiny bit as in like a table spoon or so, correct?

I still haven't mastered the art of making the bars... Over and over I have tried and they never end up being bars... I can't ever get them to harden up

That's not helping my feelings any about ordering these bars!!! What'd you do wrong?

Do the exact amount that the instructions say, they will come out fine. The key is to spread contents around evenly throughout the pan that you are going to keep them in. Spread the water out evenly, the honey out evenly and then the peanut butter evently. Take your hands and mush it all together until everything looks a peanut buttery color. Flatten them out firmly and evenly out in the pan. Throw in the fridge for 45 minutes then cut. No probs.

His bars are really two products in one. Delicious protein bar and big time forearm workout. Do 6 sets of 10 mixes, 3 sets each forearm and you'll be spent :supercool

One you mix them up,I'm always left with a 1/3 bottle of honey so i add it,i found this gives the bars better body, and stay together better, after placing in a pan press them down good, i keep pressing & using the bottom of a glass until they are packed pretty well, place in fridge, and thats it.

This is what mine look like made from instructions on the pack , i just cut them into 9 instead of 12 coz im a big guy , i call them pro size lol.

Brad.

i always mix well the liquid parts so they combine well, then add the powder.. water is last and only as needed..

Those look fucking perfect!! I always take the raisins out.

his next batch of them will include cranberry and raisenless bags, so as though people who do not like them or are allergic will have nothing to worry about.

Man this thread just made me hungry for another bar and now i am out so gotta order the bars again...might as well go ahead and stock up.

So, the bars came in the mail today but now I have to get some peanut butter. Will get it tonight and let you guys know how they turn out.

man that looks so good.

Tricks

1. do not be afraid to get your hands into it and mix it by hand. Not with a spoons. Sift it around like a meat loaf.

2. if at the end of mixing they seem dry and flaky add a little bit of water and mix more. Adding a tiny bit each time till it comes out soft and smooth but not big time sticky or mushy.

3. if its to wet then add in a bit of protein powder. mix and repeat till they are smooth and kind of hard but not falling apart and brittle like.

4. place in man and flatten out. If you like place other pan on top and flatten them out. Place in fridge and good to go.

I like to eat them before i put them in the fridge. They seem more fresh and most to me like this.

I am trying to figure out how the hell Brad make his bars look better then mine. Damn it I am the maker of the bars. Mine should look the best.

LMAO
Thats funny i hope you havent done it yet .!!

When i put the tin same size on top i put my foot in the top tin and stand my weight on it , just like a hash press , not touching the mix in the bottom with my foot :supercool

Well I finally got around to getting my bars made and I must say they taste GREAT. I did the original recipe so that I would have something to judge different recipe's by. I'm trying to drop some fat, and using this as an alternative to arby's and wendy's on night shift. Making them wasn't too bad. The secret to getting them to mix well is using your HANDS so that the big massive ball of shit it turns into gets mixed up well. The other secret is not eating 11 bars worth of batter off of your fingers! The bars are small, but very dense and moist. Very filling. They sit light on your stomach, I wouldn't hesitate to eat one before a workout unless it was HIIT day or your a crossfitter/strongman.

Overall, the product was GREAT and the taste is fantastic. I could also tell the macros ramped up my metabolism. After 3 hrs of eating one bar, i was STARVING again and had to eat another.

When I made mine, I used a the bottom of a cup to press it into the pan better. I would reccomend this or doing as above and putting one pan on top of another and stepping on the top pan. I also am just leaving mine in the refrigerator. I kept one in my patrol car for about 4 hours to see how it would hold up at room temperature because at first my bars felt very soft, but it held up fine and tasted great.

Overall, I would reccomend these bars and I would buy in bulk(10 at a time). That way you save money. I am anxious for my wife to try one, she didn't like the batter so we will see if she likes the final bar.

Needto, I would like a list of alternatives for sweeteners and what else one could add to up the grams of protein.

Lastly, if any of you guys have any questions feel free to ask. Overall, I LOVE these bars and am anxious to see how/if they affect my diet.

I've been eating too many lately. I've got to get some of that sugar free imitation honey. I dont like getting fat until winter time :)

I posted a thread about these bars over on the bodybuilding.com forums. Gotta get the word about these things, they are too good not to know about!

Brother, I just had a bar for post workout(and a single serving of 100% whey gold standard by opt. nutrition, in water). Man, talk about a great bar! Warm it up and eat it with a glass of milk! This shit is better than brownies!!!!

I just whipped up my first batch yesterday...easy to make and they are friggin' DELICIOUS!

A few comments:

I substituted organic agave for the honey, since agave is lower-glycemic index than honey....

Also, I read that there is a raisin / cranberry free version? I'd wanna try that (less sugars)

Question: I'm guessing the protein in the mix is whey and not any casein?

Great product!!!

Yes the protein in the bars is whey protein.

Organic Agave huh? That's gotta be pricey. Isn't that what they make Tequila from? :D
You could just pluck the raisins out I would think. There aren't that many in there.

Just $6 or $7 for a small bottle...probably makes 2-3 batches of bars...

There's a decent amount of fruit in the mix... it'd be easier and more economical if it just came without...and just sub in more protein or something

Thanks bro. They sure are delicious. Personally I have never thought of microwaving them, I will have to give that a try.
