Just got a call

Wow! its nice to know i have a ton of EF friends I'm deeply moved, What the surgery was about ,the dranage tube was closed up ,I had surgery to consteruct another one ,This took about 2 hrs ,Lazer surgery, the pressure had climbed to 47 (norm eye pressure is 12-14)after the surgery it dropped to 4,now the Dr says this is the critical stage ,not to pick up anything heavier than the remote and be a couch potato.I have to see the Dr every 3 days to make sure everything was all right No stress,no bending over anything that might cause bleeding, 3 days after surgery the eye was sticking out like it was gonna pop out ,He gave me some Drops for the pain (at my request) the eye looks awful all bloody red no white to it at all, But at least i get to walk around with these kewl X men style Glasses.:)
Since i'm not allowed to move my eye i am supposed to turn my head to look ,most of the time i will do this like a robot, freaks people out,(esp with the dark Glasses),Who says you can't be sick & have a little fun at the same time.......Thanks everyone ,much love!

Thats just because you are too cool Radar. Glad you are getting better and keep up the rest and relaxation!

Sounds like yours is going better than mine did. I was blind for 2 weeks after I had mine done....didnt want to tell you that before hand :)

I have my moments when i see nothing but a Blur bright light on TV around it is dark, most of this is in the morning, I got some Valium when things start getting anxiety wise,it does tend to get hot sweats ,then the shortness of breath comes on ,and all the good stuff, must of the time i can handle it!But Thanks for With holding all that good information- :)

When they start playing with your eyes, its scary shit for sure. Geneally low pressure prevents vision and as things heal pressure comes back often high again, but if they did you like me they have an internal incision stitched up and they can pop the stitches from outside the eye with a laser to let more fluid out. Its a patience thing for sure, wish they would tell you up front it could be a 2 week or more ordeal.

I hear ya about the anxiety bro, im basically blind in one eye and they did the surgery on my good eye so I was screwed. Its a mental trip for sure but just stay patient and stay positive and it will all work out.
