Is marching to Baghdad the right thing to do???

I really thinkg that we should end this thing already. March in and kill em all.

Just curious, 99.5% of the Iraqis are totally innocent. Why do you want to "kill them all." I thought one of the more impressive decisions that Bush made during the Gulf War was calling off the senseless slaughter of the retreating Iraqi Army.

In spite of no evidence from the UN inspections, we are going in....
Just because they haven't found anything doesn't mean it's not there.

1. Saddam had YEARS to get good at hiding stuff. These idoits are looking in predictable places.

2. The UN team isn't the brightest group of bulbs in the box.

And we had years to find this stuff as well. Why don't we just tell the UN team where to look?

I don't necessarily believe in everything I post. I enjoy debates and one has to take controversial stances to get them rolling.

That's a very bold statement coming from someone that's obviously never been to the middle east... Allow me to inform you... For the most part they are uneducated, and therefore easy to brainwash. They are not allowed to watch outside media sources, so all they see and hear is the propaganda that Sadaam allows them to see and hear... A good deal of the common people in the M.E. hate americans. The Iraqi army didn't believe in thier invasion of Kuwait, and that's why they were surrendering by the hundreds to newsmen armed only with a camera... They were tired, hungry, and wanted out, but I think it will be very different if we decide to TAKE Baghdad by force. The army AND the people will see it as an invasion, and I guarantee some of the civilians take up arms... Just like Somalia, women and children will be firing on our soldiers too.... watch...

Just like Somalia when women and children pick up arms they are no longer civilians but become Combatants therefore should be Free rein to put them down by any means neccessary

You probably have no idea why that is. Plus, have you been to the middle east?

As a matter of fact, I spent a great deal of my time in the military in the middle east... How much time have YOU spent there??? I know that they don't like us because of what they are told about our lifestyles. Of course they hate our foreign policies, most of them see us as the reason for thier opression, because that's what thier leaders tell them...

You talk a lot about America and its policies and even claim to have lived abroad... Good for you, but how much time have you spent on the front lines in a hostile environment??? I doubt any....
