Why can't we get one single high level Iraqi scientist to confirm this. I mean really confirm this. Money will make a lot of people talk. Intellectuals are notorious for turning on their government, for good or for bad, as well.

I like to have proof before I slaughter a few hundred thousand people. My suspicions are heightened by our close ties to Israel and the Bin Laden/Saudi Royal family.

This may all turn out but I would not be surprised if 99.9% of the people get fucked in the ass and a few elitists make a trillion dollars or so.

TELEVISE THE INTERVIEWS OF THE IRAQI SCIENTISTS. Colin Powell is on TV insisting that the only way to get to the "truth" of Iraq's weapons development is to take the Iraqi scientists and their families out of Iraq, as Colin put it, to prevent their reports from being affected by threats of maltreatment. Very well, let's call Mr. Powell on this claim that his goal is to provide a threat-free environment by demanding that the interviews of all the Iraqi scientists be televised, so that the world can witness for themselves what the scientists say or do not say. Televising the interview is the ONLY way that the world can be sure that it is not the United States which is using coercive methods on the scientists and their families. So, I am hurling the defy to the US Government. Conduct the interviews as open hearings before the world. After all, what can an Iraqi scientist have to say that the US might not want the whole world to hear? TELEVISE THE INTERVIEWS.

Will this war stop terrorism or escalate it? What proof do we have that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction? I have not heard anything but speculation thus far. What is our objective? People are already dying there by the thousands because of sanctions and malnutrition. Will inflicting war on them make them like us better or will it piss off a whole generation of people not only in Iraq but other countries?? If we do manage to take out Saddam, who will be his successor and what makes us think he will be U.S. friendly? Are we prepared to set up camp there and fire on people every time there is an insurgence?

All good points. One thing is for sure though. There will be massive increases in military spending due to this adventure. I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad venture but we do deserve some proof in my opinion.
