3 or 4 months is a very long time to be walking around down in the dumps. . .i had an experience a couple of years ago, went deep sea fishing, wore a scopalamine patch (for sea sickness), it made me feel kinda dopey but other than that didn't really notice much (other than i didn't get sick). a couple of days later though, i noticed i was in kind of a "funk". . .tired but having trouble sleeping, no interest in food, no interest in sex, no interest in socializing. . .i let it go for a couple of weeks but it didn't go away, in fact it got worse. by the time i went to the doc i was like a friggin zombie. . .i could barely get my ass out of bed in the morning and my productivity at work was for shit.
i told the doc about my problems and he asked when they started and it didn't really dawn on me until he asked, that the symptoms showed up after the fishing trip. . .i told him about the scopalamine and he said that some people have a negative reaction to it causing seratonin reuptake issues (chemically-induced depression). . .he put me on paxil cr for a couple of weeks and after about two days i felt like the new person. also, like someone else mentioned above, i could screw like an animal. . .actually had to concentrate to bust a nut. . .that part was kind of fun, but the rest of it sucked.
if you haven't already, go see a doc. . .it's been a couple of years since that incident and i've had no recurrences and i haven't had to take any meds since then. . .
