Is it good to train legs twice a week?

I am going to start another cycle and was wondering if it's o.k to train legs twice a week. Maybe one day heavy another light. I train legs on monday, so mabe i could train them again on friday. What do you guys think?

Don't you think that if you work'em twice a week you can make'em grow, or are you just going to be hurting yourself? I really want to build my legs so...

different things work for different people. train um twice for a few weeks, and if you aren't seeing results change it up.
 
I'd only train them once.I had lagin legs so I thought I'd try twice a week and I couldnt do it.I mean if you put in a hard leg day you shouldnt be able to do one for a week.Well I know I couldnt I tryed squttin twice a week and all I did was pull a muscle.
 
Go ahead!! If you can recover fast enough. . . then I don't see a problem. Your motivation seems to be fine. Other guys will train their legs once a week, but they fail to take their workouts to the limits. I brutalize my legs in the gym. . . and if possible I will train them every 96 to 120 hours. Just be sure to include plenty of protein in your diet and stretch before and after your workouts.
 
I'm squatting three times a week at the moment, but I'm going for strength and so do many low-rep sub-failure sets. I don't really get sore from it the way I get from higher reps, higher intensity stuff.

If you squat with enough intensity it may well take you a week to recover but a light day in addition won't hurt. Your muscles will recover faster.
 
You can train them twice a week...but not to failure or with lots of exercises.

I preform around 12-15 different movements that require the movment of squatting on a normal 3x a wk routine. This isnt couting days i work extra.
