Insulin saftey (turning diabetic)

crider

New member
OK I am looking to start using insulin...

I will do a normal progression of 1IU per day post workout up till I get between 7 and 10 IU in one shot.

then I will stop every workout use and go to the 3 shots a day starting at 1 IU per shot and working up to around 7 over time. ounce I start that I would only be using insulin the day before a major event to load.

what are the reall chances of me turning diebetic? will I cause my body to become very insulin resistent and not recover? I am planning on doing this ounce a week for 6 months....

Insulin:
- were you diabetic before using insulin?
1) have you ever tried insulin?
- what type of insulin?
- did you use insulin alone or with other supplements or aas?
2) how long did you use?
- IF for more than 30 days did you take time between uses?
3) ED or E3D or Eworkout injections, etc?
- have you ever loaded insulin to spesifcily increase glycogen in a 24-48 hour period without prolonged use of more than 24 hours?
- If so have you ever repetedly done this over a 6- 8 month period without sessation of use for more than a 10 day periods?
4) Did you notice any change from your recovery when you did not use it post workout?
5) How much did you use?
6) Did you do mutliple injections each day?
7) If so... have you ever planed your use for carbohydrate loading specificly the day before an event or test or workout without prior use for 5-10 days?
8) When performing muti injection days (morning, noon, night) was there a noticable energy level difference over the next 24-78 hours?
9) When not doing loading was there a noticable energy difference when not performing carbohydrate loading?
10) If so how long did it take for energy levels to rise/fall after injections were stopped?

11) How much time has passed since your first use of insulin?
12) How much time has passed since your last use of insulin?
13) Are you or have you been diagnosed as a Type of diabetic?
14) will you change anything about your use of / cycle of insulin?

these are the types of questions I want answered please...

thanks

please post this on other boards and even add more questions or sections below... these are important questions for people planning there progression forward that need/ want to make a smart choice.

First I want to say, I get tired of reading posts like the first response you got here. "More likely to die" is a stupid answer from someone who does not know wtf they are talking about. I read one thread where acneman got repeatedly bombed for only stating facts. Alot of people are more concerned that some idiot will read that we use insulin, then do it wrong and hurt themselves. They should be more concerned that the answers given to questions about insulin are correct and bomb someone for giving out bad information. Is insulin dangerous? Yes it can be if used improperly. If it is used properly does it work? Absolutley.
Now, your normal progression of 1 iu a day is safe. But I feel your weight dictates how much you should use in a day. 200-225, 10 iu's/day 226-250, 20 iu's/day, 251 and more 30 iu's/day. Of course that is shots spread out through the day. You have to eliminate fat in your diet after you take these shots or you will get FAT. Humulin R has a 4-6 hr window, Humalog (prescription only) 2-3 hr window. So it would be in your benefit to get Humalog. I only use it for a month, then I switch to IGF-1LR3. I cycle those 2. As far a becoming diabetic I can't answer you on that. But there is NO Way I would use it straight for 6 months. I don't think taking that chance is necessary.
Good luck, and for any college kid reading this thinking you should try it, DON"T get me in trouble by injecting 30 i.u's in your 155 lb body and going into a coma. Thanks.

I stand by my original statement, your more likely to overdose and go hypo than to become dependant.

mayby its rare to die from it, but whens the last time someone has become diabetic from it.
