Rick if you push slow you're gonna feel some pain as you break thru the skin the faster you poke the less you will feel ,heck some of mine are as smooth as butter,heres a tip ,before sticking allow a drop to run down the pin holding at an angle while rotating the syringe this will lubricate the pin and allow it to go in smoother.Delts are my favorite.

You are supposed to do it fast, as in the jab is fast, but not the injecting. That should be 10 seconds per ml. Obviously its easier to have a fast jab from someone else, exp in the glute. On your own it can be difficult to jab fast, exp in the quad i find. Best way to jab - get one of ur mates to do it for you!

Come on guys....... we all know fast or slow its all releative to sexual preference! Some guys go in their bury the little nogin and get it over wit, other take their time and ease! Myself, I pin slow.

As you get more comfortable, you will probably go faster. Put the pin right against the skin and just slide it in. Try not to think about it too much or focus on it. Breath...some people get very nervous doing it, especially for a first time. Even after piercing the skin, some guys get grossed out at injecting the oil. Just keep thinking about how badass this is going to make you.

You will probably do it slow like most first timers. I don't jab it because I'm worried I'll go in at a weird angle or I'll bend the pin (I have bent them before by accident...not good).

As far as 3cc's go, that is fine in the glute. I've put 5cc's in my glute before for 12 weeks straight with no problems. I don't like to do more than 2cc's in anywhere but the glutes. I personally like quad shots as they are big and right in front of you. Sometimes it's hard for me to pin my delts. Glutes can be akward without a mirror too.

Goodluck brother. Be confident and get it over with. After your first time, the rest will be a breeze and you will begin to look foward to it.

don't insert the needle fast. You should go slow and if you feel that you are getting close to a nerve you will be able to stop.

It's been so freaking long since the last time I injected but I remember doing it slow. I moved the needle slowly to my site, I think sometimes I would poke it fast through the skin and push it slowly. The most 'pain' is when breakin the skin but the smaller the gauge the less pain. And its nothin anyways!
What size guage r u using??

I always would let a drop run down the needle as well! Smooth as silk!
