Injection problem??

I just injected into my right quad for the 2nd time. Last time I injected in this spot was a week ago. I'm running test prop 100mg eod. Shortly after this injection I felt the spot with my hand and found a hard lump underneath the skin right where I injected. The lump is visible too. Should I be concerned? I took every precaution to keep it sterile with alcohol swabs and a new needle. Thanks for the help.

Massage it firmly. Add a warm compress too if you want. You probably just have to disperse the oil.

It should be nothing to be concerned about if you just did the injection. What size needle were you using and how long was it?

Don't rub the area hard. That just cuts of the blood supply to the area, just put a warm wash cloth over it. Maybe work your legs. Are you rotating sites?

To the poster..best thing to do is to get a warm cloth and massage the area ... this will help tremendously...does the area hurt?

bump at all who said rub it - that works for me all the time. I also have a heat pad and I'll heat the area 3 times a day for 10-20 minutes at a time (depending how my schedule is). Keep an eye on it and if it gets worse post an update and see a doc.

If i inject to fast, that always happens to me. Slow down the injection..

I am having similar problems, my left glute I haven't touched for about 15 days, and still won't shoot there. Now using less gear in each syringe 25 x 1 inch needles and injecting everywhere, delts, tris, calfs, quads,

I really think in my gultes there is scar tissue, from years and years of injections.
