Infection from Fina - bros, help please

Bros, I made up a batch of fina a few days ago and took my first shot in the quad on Thursday. This afternoon (Sat) I've got a red, hot patch about 3 inches by 3 inches around the inject site. It is very hot, and its sensitive to the touch. If it elevates, I will have to go in to get some antibiotics. Hopefully it won't. During the fina process, the batch came out horrible looking, dark with floaties and crud at the bottom. I re-ran it through the same filter I used to make the final batch in the first place and it then came out how it should look.

Questions:

1- Has this ever happened to you, thoughts?
2- What should I do to the fina to sterilize it? Can I bake it? What is the process for baking it? I don't have anymore filters so, I would prefer not to get some, but, I will if I have to.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks bros.......

1. i have never got an infection from fina and one time i only filtered half of it. 2. u can bake it at 250 degrees for 15 minutes a fe3w times and try and get some more filters. for now try the anti-biotics and maybe even try a heating pad. goodluck bro. did you do something wrong while making it ?

I have a buddy that bought some fina from a company in a 10 cc. bottle and took about 5 cc's and on his next shot his hands started to swell and he got rash like hives all over his body. Did this happen to you at all or is it just in the injection area???.TAPOUTM

I get hives from Fina and am usually itchy all friggin day. Not that bad but annoying. Anyway, it may not be an infection. Just a reaction. Just keep an eye on it and make sure it is NOT an infection. If it keeps swelling then start to be more concerned.

I shoot Fina and get the red area and it’s itchy. It doesn’t hurt. But it feels great to scratch!

If you need to, get a syringe and draw some of the fluid out to see what it is. Just be careful. It may be what you need to ease your mind a little.

what size needle did you use, i use to use 5/8 but after time i started to notice that my inject site in quad/calf would be sensitive to touch as well as being hot as hell, i then started using 1inchers and now i am fine, you probably didnt go all the way thru the muscle and you have some tren above the muscle just put some icy/hot on it and wait it out for a few days if its been a wk then go see a doc

my boy has the same exact thing happening to him right now, i just talked to him like an hour ago and he told me aout it. i hope it works out for the both of you, as for me.. i am done researchign fina. i wont do it.

You can bake it at 250 degrees, make sure you stick a pin in it to let air escape while baking. Keep an eye out for melting plastic on the pin. I heard you can do this once or up to three times.

Since you refiltered and it looks good now I'd bake it a few times.

Thanks for the quick responses. To respond to some of the questions:

- Its just around the injection site,
- I used a 1 incher in the quad, just like always

The site is mildly red, with some heat coming off of it. It doesn't appear really bad, hopefully it will go away.

I will bake the remainder of the batch, as suggested, and see what happens on this baby. Thanks ya'll......

You can boil in a shallow pan of water at 225 degrees, make sure you stick a pin in it to let air escape while boiling do this three times. boiling keeps the fina from burning.
