Carrot Top fucking RULED!!!
its so weird, everyone outside the show that I talked to thought I was crazy for driving 2 hours to see the guy. They think he's ugly, weird, etc.. I ask them "have you seen him?" they say "the commercials" FUCK THAT.
Dude is fucking FUNNY as hell. The audience there was laughing his ass off. He has a LOT of crowd interaction.. some dude bought him a shot of tequila.. another lady who was like 60 came up to get a picture with him in the middle of the show.. he goes "oh a picture? sure, no, I'm not busy or anything" Hahahaha.. he gave out beers to the audience... it was really an amazing show.
Smufy: The hotel I was at was nice. Pool open 24/7.. free breakfast... free high speed internet free paper.. super helpful staff.. no drinks served there, but we were at a casino till 2am last night gambling then hit up some late night Dennys. Oh and the hotel only cost me $75 after taxes.. its the off season for them since its hot as shit.
Oh Carrot Top had to have juiced.. he is fucking BIG. During the day I was at the pool, feeling swole.. later that night I saw Carrot Top with his shirt off and was like "fuck I'm small"

Palm Springs didn't really excite me much the number of times I went there. We did take the gondola ride to the top of that mountain there to see the snow, as neither of us had seen snow in a few years anywhere else in CA.
I was in Palm Springs airport the morning they announced that Sonny Bono had died. I had been in the airport all night (only ride I could get dropped me off at 11pm, flight didn't leave until 830) and was tired as shit. I'm sitting at one of the bars drinking a cup of coffee and for 30 minutes all I'm hearing on the news over and over is them talking about Bono dying.
Yeah, the guy died before his time was up, ok, it's a tragedy, but I didn't know him, so to me, life goes on, right? Right.
Anyway, after hearing over and over again all sorts of shit about him, I said kinda under my breath "ok, the dude is dead, who the fuck cares?" I got shot about 4 or 5 really dirty looks from people within earshot just as they were saying, "Sonny Bono, former mayor of Palm Springs...."
I got up and walked outside.
