I think what he means is that once you juice, you are never considered natural again, doesnt matter how long you've been clean
That's it exactly.
& what I meant was most of my friends who've used or are regular users report permanent gains up to 3-4 months after a cycle is finished.
I did not mean that the hormones permanently stay in your system but they do for some time & still allow you to make gains while not even injecting.
I have a buddy of mine who's a personal trainer that I played football with for 2yrs in highschool as he's about 2yrs older than me.
When he was in the 9th grade he was already almost 230lbs at about 6ft4 a lot if it had to do with a very large bone structure & the fact he started weight training when he was just 13yrs old in 1989.
He played Middle linebacker since the 7th grade. He always wanted to play defensive tackle & he knew he wasn't going to be big enough b/c no matter how heavy he lifted or how much he ate he wasn't growing anymore.
So he started steroids at about 17yrs old & it's been 11yrs he's been on them & he grew to about 290lbs not ripped obviously but had a defensive tackle shaped body.
He had to go off steroids within the last 2yrs b/c he developed an odd irregular heartbeat & he was advised by his doctor to quit who had originally been monitoring him the last 11yrs.
Even though it's been over a year he's off juice & has shrunk down to a lean 265lbs with still very good power with a max bench of 415lbs, he says that he will never consider him self a natural training person with all the steroids he took.
SteroMan
Oh I agree you are never 'natural' again there always will be that little astrix by your weigth. But no he says thats b/c the compounds stay in your system, that make you keep gaining.
That's it exactly you're never natural again even if you've quit. I'm not saying that ppl who take steroids are bad (but they put their health at risk as we don't know how each individual will react to a particular drug), but when someone who uses steroids says they are training naturally, it just makes me laugh LOL LMAO.
This one guy at my gym who competed locally in Montreal who trained under Roy Callender at my old gym has been juicing & now is about 6ft 240lbs pretty lean. Just the other day he said he was natural as I said that his chest routine was too much for a natural training person doing 18 sets.
His training partner whispered to me "that what he means is that he's taking a break from a cycle so he thinks he's training naturally"
LMAO

I definately think they are key. I do 3 sets flat BB, 3 sets incline Dbs(or bar) at a 30 degree angle. Do 2 sets of incline flys, 2 sets decline HS, and finish off with 2-3 drop sets HS incline. Then some times I'll throw in a couple drop sets of X overs/pec deck.
Sounds like a solid chest routine.
You do about 12 sets also I notice which is what I do as well.
But in regards to the steroid issue, I totally respect the steroid users at least the obvious steroid users whether they're 190lbs or 270lbs who come out & say they are using steroids.
Most of my friends say they're on roids. This one guy at my old gym about 5ft10 255lbs ripped with 21 inch arms always said he's on steroids & I respect that.
I don't respect the steroid liars. Whatever the reas they lie for, I don't respect that. But I've noticed that many lie b/c they want everyone to believe they are Super Man & making these incredible gains of strength naturally. & this is exactly what my friends who use told me.
Anyway I know I'll never be 240lbs ripped w/o steroids but that's okay I don't want to take them.
