If you bring up my son in any context that I find even remotely negative, I will bomb you from here to eternity. I'm not putting up with anyone's BS about my son.

If I see anyone else bring up anyone's kids, wife, momma, daddy, whatever to bait them or to be an asshole. I will run a shock and awe campaign on your nefarious ass.

They get aggravated in a debate and just suddenly jump onto the fact that I have a son to bait me because they know I will go off. I think it brings nothing to the board for members to resort to personal attacks about others' family members. So, consider that my platform as much as Palin's platform is burning books...lol.

distasteful comments about being a single mom, the conception of my son, etc are not going to be tolerated, whether you say his name or not. You say stuff like this about others and I won't tolerate it either. Debate is good, but lets keep kids and family matters out of it.

hmmm, you have little problem commenting on the conception of palin's granddaughter and the naivness of teaching absitence.
it seems fair that they same scope can be turned on you and your decisions...but i completely support bombing.

sometimes i get carried away, and i truely don't want to hurt your feelings (though i enjoy pissing you off)...but you alluded to your bf having certain characteristics that would lead me to believe he would not be a suitable father for your child.

Well, now no one else is confused.

Whether you think it is overly-emotional or irrational, I do not tolerate comments about my son or our family. He is sacred to me.

Politics/religion, calling me a bitch, etc never made me bomb anyone so far as I remember. People are free to disagree with me etc.

Just leave my son out of things. If someone wants to bait, they better make sure that they want the fish on the line. See?

Seriously though, when we took him in for his 2 year checkup, the dr. told us he was off the charts in everything. Height/weight/speech etc...


He was in the 150th percentile in height and weight.

to teach about how safe contraceptives are? I can't even comment because that makes no sense.

Palin is foolish because she has first hand experience that not teaching about safe sex and having abstinence only education leads to unplanned pregnancies.

I'm not trying to force sex or contraceptives on anyone...lol.

My son is only 50%ile in height and a mere 25%ile in weight. so, yeah, your son could whip my son's butt.

My son has almost all of his teeth already, though. So, my son could out-masticate your son any day...lol.

and you have firsthand experience that contraceptives don't work
so we are back to square one, truely the best method is teaching a combo of both absitence and contraceptives

I never said I was adverse to contraceptives and abstinence being taught as long as the abstinence part remains secular education and doesn't start quoting bible verses, etc.

I can't use hormonal contraceptives for medical reasons and was not trying to prevent pregnancy, although I wasn't trying to get prego, either. I was engaged.

PS -- not that any of that is any of your concern.

PPS -- I was 37 not 17 when I got prego. We are talking about sex ed in SCHOOLS here.

it's okay for her to comment on palin's decisions, but not okay for me to comment on hers (hrs)

Repeat...and this is the last time I'm saying this. I'm not trying to prevent people from teaching children like Palin is. I was an adult who wanted a child, had a child and is raising a child on my own. My child is irrelevant to the discussion of sex education in schools or the topic of teen pregnancy.

I'm not stating that her daughter should have been taught abstinence! I'm stating that abstinence only education does not give our children all the tools to prevent teen pregnancies and VD.

PS. I guess I should be flattered also that no one has noticed that I'm not a teenager nor was I one when I decided to have a child.

Was dad small? I wasn't sure who's genes my son was going to get, because i'm 6'5" and my wife is 5'1".

Isn't it the earliar children get their teeth the "better" they are? as far as like straightness and shit is concerned? Thought i read/heard that somewhere

My point was prior to her upgrading her member status, I'm sure she would have fallen squarely into the "no-censorship" camp (but who knows, she may be all about editing otherwise free expression). But now that the relationship is asymmetric (she can bomb a plat but a plat can't remove a bomb or bomb her), the bombs are flying.

It is a great case study tho.

I wonder if I'd eventually start bombing people over things I didn't like if I went CotB. I'd like to think I wouldn't.

Palin expects the only option to be taught to children is abstinence. Which obviously failed in her own home. Which could even be considered a laughable hypocrisy when you compare conception dates of her first child and her marriage date.

You can't tell children to say NO. Teenagers are going to do it whether you want them to or not. The best thing is to teach sex ed and make them responsible and educated about their choices and the long term effects it can have on them and their bodies. (Pregnancy, STDs, etc..)

Playing this game has to be exhausting for the people who must defend themselves from these attacks everyday.

I can also taste the enjoyment of the hecklers at getting a rise out of someone.

I love it how even though the hecklers KNOW they are saying and doing things with the INTENT to fuck with somebody, they have the nerve to turn around and say "What did I do?"

This is going to end very soon. Either we will have a change of attitudes or we will banish every single person who continues this sort of behavior...

Without getting political. It is fucking ridiculous to try to compare HR situation, that that of Palin's daughter... I think anybody with two braincells can see the difference between a 37yrl woman's choice to conceive and a 17yrl gilr's decision to have an unplanned birth. If you can't. We might not want you here diluting the medium I.Q. of the site... If you can clearly see the difference, but choose to ignore basic logic and just get hung up on inapplicable technicalities, just for the sake of being able to argue and FUCK with someone. We really need to get rid of you. Like NOW.
 
HR just keep your boy away from my girls, I tought them no sex thru kicking boys in the balls if they try to get funny!
