***Important matter for anyone on HRT right now***

Ive been on HRT, Test Cyp 100mg/wk for 10 months now and had my sperm count tested and its at ZERO. Im certain this is due to the HRT Ive been on. To my knowledge I was not aware such a low dose would shut down sperm production to zero but here I am and have to deal with it.
Any of you guys that have been on HRT for an appreciable amount of time I would strongly suggest getting sperm count tested (unless you dont care, up to you), and also getting a full metabolic panel lab done at least every 6 months. Last time I did a full lab work up everything was ok, but that didnt include sperm count test of course so hopefully when I get another full lab report everything else will be ok.

Just a heads up in case bros havent thought of this sort of thing while chugging along on HRT.

Interesting!!
Free vas?

SD, i had a friend go through this. His sperm count went back to normal pretty quickly from what i remember. Has two beautiful children now.

i know it will go back. i was throwing this out there since i havent seen any mention of this side effect on any HRT threads.

how much hcg , hmg and dostinex per week we should run while on hrt to stay fertile or do we have to stop hrt for a while while doing this?

update:
I feel much better after getting on HCG since stopping the test. Going to an endo specialist tomorrow AM and will let you guys know what they say.

Went to the endo today and she said in over 20 years shes never seen anything like me. Meaning shes never seen anyone self order testosterone on the internet from a HRT clinic, then get a hold of HCG afterwards. LOL
She also said HCG does no good when it comes to any of this and my body has to get back to normal on its own. So Im stopping the HCG (Ive already taken a good amount anyhow) and just letting my body do its thing. She said it could take 2 years for sperm count to get back, holy shit. Also said I might be calling her nurse whining like a bitch since Im shut down and will take a while to readjust. I dont know, I dont feel bad or anything, maybe that starts soon or something. Hope shes wrong about that part.

My situation is similar to Clozto50. I'm 48, but would like to have kids in the future. I don't want to commitment myself to something that is going to kill my sperm production. I just want to try HRT to see if it improves my situation (fatigue, reduced sx drive), but I read comments like "HRT is for life", and it scares me away. My questions are:
1. Clozto50, or anyone else in a similiar situation taking hcg etc. to retain sperm count, what clinic are you using?
2. Can I just try it for a month or two and see how it effects me., without experiencing a protracted or permanent reduction in Test production after the end of the 'cycle'?
3. Do hcg et al have any significant side effects? I don't want to be one of those people that takes A and B to enhance one's health, but then needs to take C, D, E, and F to counter the side effects of A and B. And I don't want to have to become an expert in pharama terms (even thought I have a degree in Chemistry).

Robert you may want to wait to do trt until you have a kid! Yes you can take hcg, hmg and dostinex to maintane your sperm count but at our age it gets risky. Anytime you take exogenous testosterone you will interfere with your natuural hormone balance. I would get a sperm count first to see where you are at.You can go to (anylabtestnow.com) and have it done at one of there stores. I f you are borederline less than 20 million you may want to wait.If you are close to this then I would look into taking as much care as possible if you decide to go ahead. That is getting plenty of hcg ,hmg ,dostinex and testosterone undecanoate which seems to have the least effect on your hormones. All this being said I would recommend getting jiggy with it and having a baby asap. Its also kind of a catch 22 in that test makes us want to have sex alot more ie. more chance for babies, but kicks the shit out of our sperm count, and if you live in the US good luck getting test un legally(what a shame)! Good luck hope this helps any other questions I will try and help. PS after 10 years of cycles Im still trying to get my sperm count up.

Thanks Clozto. I live about a mile from one of those anylabtestnow franchises (Being a former Engineer I assumed that they did tests for industry not for medical purposes). So that would be very convenient for me. But I don't see sperm count as one of the tests that they offer. Have you actually had a sperm test there? FWIW, I had my sperm count tested about 7 years ago and it was above average, I don't remember the numbers.
eta: I am researching HRT because I am exhausted much of the time and after dealing with my other commitments I am not real motivated to get jiggy with much of anything. Hence I am significantly constrained from acting on your recommendation.
