I'm Back - Got A Question

First of all I am back from the summer of hell. No need to get into it here except ofr what applies to my question.

I am 2 weeks post op of a fusion of my C6-C7. The disc that ruptured affected the use of my left arm to the point that I could no longer even do a 15 lb skull crusher. Now that I am post op, my strength is coming back, and the surgeon says that I can go back to lifting anything I want since the fusion and the associated hardware has made my spine stronger than what it was. However, the bone graft will not be completely fused for 4-6 weeks, and essentially the screws & plate just hold my neck vertebrae in place until the bones heal together.

I have squatted already with no pain other than my aching muscles. I was down 9 weeks with no working out prior to surgery. I was able to crank out 5 sets of 5 @ 405 without much trouble until the last set. This is significantly less than my old pr's.

I have also lot a lot of weight. I am down from 260 to 219 @ 17% bf according to a DEXA scan.

Time to get back into the game. Obvious goals are to put on the weight and get my strength back.

Does anyone here see a problem with this cycle considering what I said above? And will it help heal faster?

Weeks 1-14 500 mg Tri-Test (blend of prop, ean, cyp)/week
Weeks 1-8 75 mg Anavar/day

Ancillaries as needed (usually not for me on this cycle).

Thanks,
B-

PS I hate Deca - lots of Bacne for me, water gain, and no dick workie

if i were in your situation i would just stick to the test. again that's just me, i see no problem with the var really. i would just rather keep it simple getting back into it after an injury.

edit: have you considered hgh to sort of speed the process along?

Yes I have considered HGH. Unfortunately, I am one of the 3% that has a negative insulin response to extraneous HGH, so I don't take it.

The reason for the var is because I have a ton of it, and I put it in every cycle. I love the stuff. Additionally, I get tested from time to time and var only stays with you for about 21-30 days at most.

Two things to remember here:

1) I have the OK from the contracted surgeon of the NFL

2) My fusion was C6-C7. I am a low bar squatter with the bar at T1-T2 so there is no contact with the fusion area, and in fact the weight is carried below the surgical area.
