MASSIVEMONSTER said:I have just joined this forum and I notice a few threads about IGF. I am just about to get some but have read the links that it can massively increase the rate at which cancer grows at. I have e mailed Milos Sarcev and have been on a few other boards and the consensus is that this stuff should be left alone as any cnacer you may have WILL be sped up by using a lot of HGH and more so IGF which is directly more powerful.
Any thoughts or opinions on this?
My queries lie with the fact that you very rarely haer of bodybuilders getting cancer even though HGH has been used loads in the past 15 years.
I wanna get some and increase my 220lb frame but am concerned as you can see, and I would feel others would also be concerned!![]()
It's my belief from what I have read stating long r3igf-1 or hgh either causes or exacerbates cancer is overstated and sometimes the science is misinterpreted. Don't get me wrong, if you are going to use it, use it at a responsible dose for a responsible time period and as with all other substances, pay close attention to your body. In the scientific and medical communities many believe that athletes taking hgh or AAS are equilivalent to recreational drug users, they believe that it is wrong and immoral to use it for this purpose... Some believe in this so strongly that many so called "studies" have been proven to be concieved of nothing more than fear-mongering and their results are basically junk. Unfortunately many of these conclusions still live on in the form of an urban myth. We know for a fact that certain scientists will substitute fiction for fact as their means justify their end in creating the world they find morally acceptable. Now just because I've known a good deal of people who have taken hgh and none had cancer or have cancer (that I know of) doesn't mean that it won't increase cancers growth. That means nothing scientifically. But just because they find igf in tumors doesn't mean that igf caused the cancer to grow.
The harvard study linking bst to prostate cancer is like comparing apples to oranges when you substitute the bovine growth hormone for media grade long r3igf-1. Honestly though I buy my milk free of bst, FARMLAND DAIRYS, if you're interested. I did this after looking at the effects it had on the COWS I saw in a documentary, after seeing that shit I'll hopefully never drink it again. But I've seen people on igf-1 and they weren't having the same serious problems as the cows. That's just my opinion anyways.
