If you killed someone and then 50 years later on your deathbed would you confess?

Why would i tell my family that their image of me was wrong - that i was a coldblooded ruthless murderer.

depends whether you are a god fearing person i suppose. if not, go with canadian hitmans suggestion, it would kill your family to hear, so leave it out.
i imagine most people that believe in jeebus would say you must confess your sins before you die.

If you are God fearing, you would be scared shitless, because you are going to hell for sure for murdering someone like AAP described.

luckily im not god fearing, i have no remorse for the 37 decomposing corpses in my basement. i sleep just fine.

I'd have a knife or something hidden in the sheets so that I could take more people with me while on my death bed, then when they're lying in a puddle of their own blood I'd casually bring it up for the coup de gras.

What are they gonna do? Throw me in prison?! :FRlol:

The show The First 48 on A&E goes into detail (almost like a documentery) about murder cases all over the country. Most of the time even the most ruthless people on the face of the planet break down during the questioning process when hard pressed. The show reviews the peoples personal records and such and alot of these guys have gone years commiting robbery, rabe, theft, assult, drug posession and everything else uner the sun. Once they realize that they have killed people and the victims family is in deep, deep, morning they utterly and completely break down

if i had living parents, a wife, or kids - then no.

if not, i would confess just to make sure an innocent person never went to jail for it

That'd just make me that much harder.
