i think he means 1.25inch 23g as i dont think you can get 1.5g 23s only 25s. i use a 1.25g for delts all the time no problem

From what I've read 1" seems to be the norm. I don't see the need to pin with anything larger than 25G or longer than 1". Less scar tissue buildup. I even pin my Test/Deca combo with the 25G.

No, I definitely meant 1.5inch. 23ga. I was a first timer and was more worried about it not being long enough that I went overkill. I get my needles from a medical direct supply store, and you can find just about any length. Yesterday I only went in about an inch though.
